Moving on

(Mark's POV)

I watched as Rose pushed the long piece of glass into her heart and as soon as she did I was pulled away from my prison and brought to a field of red roses!!

"Hello Mark." Someone said behind me.

I turned around and saw a woman and a man standing there smiling at me.

"Who are you?" I asked

"We're Rose's parents." The woman said " your no longer in the underworld Mark...your in paradise."

But the only way for someone to move on from the underworld is to.....complete there unfinished business.

"Rose was my unfinished business....until she is free form Pan."

"And now she is free form him." The man said happily.

I smiled, she's really free.

(Rose's POV)

I cried out in pain as I pushed the long piece of glass into my heart.

It hurt for a few seconds but then I didn't feel anything. everything was quite, I could know longer hear or feel the cold winds.

"Rose..." I heard someone from behind me say softly.

I turned around and saw that the part of the room behind me was nothing but a bright light. And right there just a few feet away from me stood...Mark!

"Mark." I said with happy tears.

He smiled brightly and walked over to me.

"It's finally over my love....your free." He whispered and gently kissed my lips and laid me down on the floor.

"Close your eyes Rose....and when you open them again you will be in paradise." He said as he stroked my cheek lovingly.

I closed my eyes and I could feel my soul leaving my body.

"Now open your eyes."

I did and gasped when I saw a field of red roses that were surrounded by a beautiful pin tree forest! It was the most beautiful sight I've ever seen!!

I looked down and saw I was now wearing a beautiful white dress that went down to my ankles.

"Beautiful as always." Mark said taking my hand.

I smiled happily at him.

"I missed you so much my love." I said.

"I missed you too."

Mark kissed me passionately and it felt amazing. I haven't felt this happy in so long!! He pulled away and smiled.

"Of course I'm not the only one who's been waiting for you." He said looking behind me.

I turned around and cried more happy tears.

"Mom...dad!!"

I ran over to them and hugged both of them and they laughed and hugged me and kissed my head.

"Everything is going to be alright now sweetie." My mother said rubbing my back.

I smiled and nodded, but I still can't stop thinking about the consequence that will follow with me killing myself.

Destiny will no longer have parents. But I'm sure that Emma will take care of her.....and I'll always be watching over my daughter until the day when she is with me here in paradise.

Three years later

(Destiny's POV)

I sat at my desk listening to the teacher countie to talk about how we're all going to be doing a book report about fairy tales.

A year after we escaped neverland I left storybrook with some money that Rumpel gave me to go to a private school. I didn't want to stay in storybrook after everything that happened, and mother always wanted me to live a normal life and that is exactly what I'm going to do here in New York City.

"And which fairy tale story would you like to do Destiny?" The teacher asked me.

I smiled

"Peter Pan."

The teacher nodded and the bell rang for the end of the day.

In a way this school is like college, the students get their own rooms in a building just across from the school but it's still on the same property.

Today is my ninth Birthday but I never liked doing any parties or stuff like that.

I got to my room and when I walked in I saw a note and a red rose on my bed, I rolled my eyes with a smile from knowing who it was from. I walked over and read the note.

My Destiny

Happy Birthday my treasure, I think back nine years ago to the moment an angel was put in my arms. I remember her Opening her eyes and she smiled up at me and giggled. And when the doctor asked me what this little angels name was going to be, I said Destiny. You are my light and happiness and know that I'll always watch over you and that I love you very much my little Destiny.

I smiled and walked over to the mini fridge and when I opened the door I saw a small cake that was white with golden frosting and in the middle it said happy Birthday from heaven.

"Thanks mother." I said looking out the window up at the blue sky with a smile.

I invited some of my friends over and we had the cake and watched Netflix and talked until it was time for them to leave. I got ready for bed and I put the Rose mother gave me in a vase beside the bed.

"Goodnight mother." I said to the red Rose before closing my eyes.

I miss visiting mother's grave back in storybrook but at least I know that she's always here with me and one day we will see each other again.

(Rose's POV)

I stroked destiny's cheek as she fell asleep. I'm so proud of her, she's got good friends good grades here at this school.

"She's growing up so fast" mark chuckled sitting beside me on the bed looking down at destiny.

Even though she wasn't his child Mark still sees her as his daughter.

"Indeed she is" my mom said as her and dad were on the other side of the bed looking down at destiny.

"We're all here destiny....we will always be here." I said and kissed her forehead and I knew that she would get the message.

I still think about the day I saw destiny shoot Peter with a cross bow. I wonder where he ended up??? If he's back in the underworld or was he dragged down to the world of the damned? I guess I'll never know, but I don't care because I'm finally with my parents and my true love mark. And I still get to see my baby girl.
