The time we share together

Daniel's POV
We had finally gotten back from our amazing trip to Boston and now Joey and I are just in bed enjoying the company of our own home. I wake up and see that the clock reads 2:00 am. I know there is no way I'm going back to bed now. I look over and see that Joey is tossing and turning in his sleep also. "Joey, Joey are you awake?" I whispered. He turned around to face me and turns out he was. "Yea I am guess we both are having trouble sleeping tonight." Joey said. I had an idea in mind that could potentially help us get back to sleep. "I've got an idea we're going on an adventure grab your shoes." I told Joey. We both grabs some sweatpants and some shoes and headed to the car. "Where are we going Daniel?" Joey questioned. "You'll find out soon enough my boy." I told him. We drove and drove for a while and I could see Joey becoming more tired and I couldn't have that happen just yet. We had finally reached our destination and we both got out of the car. I took his hand in mine and we walked down a trail up to the mountains. The mountains our special place. The place where it all started, where we started.  We finally made it to the top where everything was clearer and we could see everything. "It's beautiful Daniel just like the first time." Joey smiled sleepily. I just looked into his eyes and couldn't be happier with how life has turned out. This man the love of my life I couldn't be happier with him. "It really is and what makes all this special is the time we share together all these memories locked in time just us shared together makes it so special." I said with the biggest grin on my face. I looked into his eyes again and he kissed me with full passion and love it all meant so much to me. "The time we share together means so much to me I wouldn't wanna spend it with anyone else." When Joey said that I knew I never want to let him go.
