We walked into the police station to try and wrap up the case. We've delivered the profile yesterday and JJ gave a brief press conference. Now we wait and try and look for more details. We can't wait much longer because he might snatch another victim soon. This killer has a waiting period that isn't long. We started throwing around ideas.
"I'm pretty sure it's a teacher who is recently divorced. His victims are the substitute for his wife, he takes college kids and the students are trusting of him." Prentiss says.
"You know Prentiss is right on this." Rossi said.
"Garcia, I need you to check and see if any of the students had a mutual teacher." Morgan asked Garcia on speaker.
"Okay we have five matches." Garcia said.
"We need to narrow it down. Any with recent divorce?"Morgan said.
"Uh yes two. Brent Lervay and Cal Burns." Garcia replied.
"Garcia which one lives closer to the Rapids District?" Reid asked.
"Cal Burns. His address is 485 north 875 south Great Stream Lane." Garcia said.
"Thanks babygirl." Morgan said hanging up.
"Anything for you chocolate thunder." Garcia said and ended the call.
We got to his house. The arrest was clean and no one got hurt. We can go home now. The jet ride was nice and calm. Prentiss sat across from me. We just sat there, not saying a word. This moment was perfect.
