It was a beautiful night in the village I was just about to go out and watch the stars with Jake. We had been talking about the full moon for weeks now. I had packed a picnic of apples, bread, and water. I was just leaving the house when I saw him across the courtyard. I started jumping and screaming so he would see me. laughing. He had the brightest smile it would always lighten the mood. We met up in the middle of the courtyard. All of a sudden he picked me up so my upper torso was hanging over his back. I started wriggling around and gently pounding on his back. He took me to the peak that we had gone to since we were kids. I was 15 now and he was 17.
