Adopted By A...Criminal at 15!

I KNOW WHAT TO DO!

It is already midnight, god I am tired.

The police already arrested Tracey for robbing and murdering. I can't wait until tomorrow to tell Trevor.

"I think you should go back to the orphanage so you can have a place to sleep." Said Laura. "No no, no!" I said. Laura sighed, "You can stay with me, but only for today."

"Thank you so much!" I said.

Trevor's Point of View....

I couldn't sleep. I moved and tossed on the flat hard bed I had. Is not just the bed though, I was also thinking.

Thinking about Riley. I was also thinking that what if I spend all my life in jail for "murder" and this is only my first day and night.

I didn't even murder Josh!!! I started crying. I'll be here all my life and Riley will go back to the orphanage. She's probably at the orphanage right now! Well this is life. And life is hard.

Thinking so much made me fall asleep.

Morning Time...
Riley's Point of View...

I woke up on Laura's couch. "Good Morning Riley" said Laura. "Morning" I said getting up. "There's an extra tooth brush if you want to use. "Thank you!" I said sighing in relief. I brushed my teeth and took a shower. I had to wear the same clothes. Thank god it didn't stink.

Laura was eating cereal. "Help you're self" she said. I ate a bowl of cornflakes.

Laura and I walked out. Laura headed to work and I headed to the Colorado Jail. Since visiting hours weren't open I went to the park to relax.

Trevor's Point of View....

YES! I've been told that my time will be decreased since I didn't murder anyone. Thank god!

I am so happy!!! "What you so happy about son?" Tom asked. Tom is the guy I work out with in jail,along with other guys, he's arrested for having a shoot out.

"Cops found out I didn't murder anyone" I said. "So why you still here homie?" He asked. "I did robbery bro" I answered. "I'm thinking about escaping you with me?" Asked Tom. "Nah, nah I promised I'll change" I replied. "Fo who?" Said Tom. I smiled and looked down. "Ah, it's a girl! My home boy got a girl!" Said Tom nudging me playfully.

"What? You do? T-Dawg you got somethin' to live for, you're a lucky man" said Manny one of the other guys. "How she's like?" Added Manny. I smiled and said "She's beautiful, sweet, open minded, funny and perfect." Then I realized what I said. Oh my god, I like Riley.

"Y'all did the you know what?" Asked Tom. I raised my brow. Tom started smacking and rubbing his hands together, now I knew what he meant.

"No, Riley's not even my girlfriend, I just... I just like her" I said. "Really dude" said Manny.

An officer came up to me and said "You have a visitor"

"Go get em' T-Dawg" said Manny. "Get some!" Said Tom. I smiled and shook my head. I walked to the visiting area of the Jail and saw Riley. I smiled.

Riley's Point of View....

"Hey you" said Trevor smiling. I smiled back and said "Hey" "I've missed you" said Trevor. "Dude, this is you're second day in jail and you seen me yesterday" I said chuckling. "I don't care I still missed you" Trevor said.

I blushed. Trevor's so sweet. "I've m-missed you too, w-well I got um great news" I said stammering. Oh my god, why do I feel shy all of a sudden.

"That police know I'm innocent" Trevor said. "Yeah actually, I went on a whole adventure with the Po-Po trying to catch this Tracey son of a bîtch" I said.

"Wow! So you actually saved me" Trevor said. "Yup!" I said. "You know I still have to stay here for stealing the crystal" Trevor said. "I'm going to tell Chief Laura that you also helped find Tracey as well, I'm going to say that you figured it out that it was Tracey and we worked on our theory together, it'll decrease you're time" Trevor nodded and smiled.

"I KNOW WHAT TO DO!" I said practically yelling. "Shhh!" Said the same police officer from yesterday. I looked at him and said "You again"

"You know what to do?" Trevor said. "Mhm! I'm going to get you out! But I think I'll need a lawyer right?" I said. Trevor sighed and said "You're not old enough love" I started thinking. "I KNOW WHAT TO DO!" I shouted again excitedly. Then the officer said "Ma'am you need to hush" so I got up and read his name tag and said "Phil you need to mind you're beez wax"

"You know what to do?" Said Trevor again. "Mhm! I'm going to find someone old enough, and pay them to get a lawyer, a good lawyer!" I said. "Who?" Asked Trevor. So I started thinking even more. "I KNOW WHO!" I yelled. Oops. Phil the officer walked towards me and grabbed my arm then said "Ma'am you've got to go" I frowned at him and said "You know Phil, you are annoying" I said as he escorted me out.

I ran to the police station and into Laura's office. "Whoa Riley can I help you?" Said Laura. "Yes you can please!" I said out of breath. "What do you need?" Asked Laura. "You know since I got 7,500 dollars now I can pay you! Can you please please please with a cherry on top get a lawyer to bail Trevor Braxton out of Jail? Please" I said begging.

Laura sighed and said "You want a thief to be free?" I nodded and said "He's change, also he's the one who helped me figure out it was Tracey Winston all along" I said. "Fine, and my cousin is a good lawyer I'll talk to him" said Laura. I smiled. "We'll go on my lunch break" said Laura. "Thank you!" I said.

"Laura! What brings you here?" Said her cousin a.k.a the lawyer. "Hello Adam, this is Riley- a friend, I want to bail Trevor Braxton out of jail" said Laura. "Between you and I, you don't have to pay a dime, I'll do it for free!" Said Adam. "Thank you Adam" said Laura.

I went back to the jail. "Trevor, we've got a lawyer, you'll be out in no time, the trial starts Saturday" I said. Saturday was six days away.

"We've?" Said Trevor.

"Weave? What are you talking about?" I said.

"No you said we, you and who else?" Said Trevor.

"Ohh that makes more sense, Chief Laura is helping" I said.

"Promise you'll visit everyday, hopefully I'll be free next week" said Trevor. "I promise" I said softly. Trevor and I almost kissed but freaking Phil said "No touching!" This guy is a real pain in the neck!
