Its been a month and a couple of weeks since everything went down with Sid. Mimi was doing pretty good until it was confirmed that she was exactly 2 months pregnant by him and that really caused her to hit her breaking point. After buying a new house, I had made her and alex move in with us so I can keep an eye on her. now she just sits in the house not doing any thing but look out of the window. And seeing her like this really breaks my heart cus that's my baby girl and im use to seeing a smile on that beautiful face of hers. after going to court and everything I thought the worst was over. but I guess god had something else planned for her. After the case she started having pains in her stomach, so we rushed her to the emergency room only to find out she was having a miscarriage due to all the stress and lack of eating. At this point me and Elijah don't know what to do, I just want her to be happy again.

"Pops I don't like mom like this" Elijah said as he sat at the table with me with this pitiful look on his face

"I don't either, but we gotta be there for her until shes back to herself. She just got her heart broke son. For us its easy to pop back from but for women its not." He nodded

"I know I just miss the old her. shit I miss the old alex too. His ass is mean as hell now, he even broke up with dria because he said that she deserved someone that actually loved her" I looked at him confused

"I thought he did love her?"

"He said he don't know what love is now. He thought what his parents had was love but that was obviously a lie" my hands dragged down my face

"if I find sid ima kill him. All the time he was with them fucking up their life I could've been in that spot doing everything right" I turned my head the other way hoping Elijah didn't hear me

"I Knew you were still in love with her!! Bout freaking time you owned up to it" I let out a laugh, Elijah been wanting me and marissa to date forever "Why didn't you just tell her No, when she walked down the aisle?"

Today was her wedding day, the day ive been trying to ignore and avoid since I first found out. he had asked me to be one of his groomsmen but I declined the offer, I just couldn't do it. the girl I was in love with was about to get married to a nigga that would never love her the way that I do. she came through the double doors with the girls as they smiled. my eyes landed on her and damn did she look beautiful

"You look beautiful Marissa" She blushed as she looked up at me. the girls gave me a wink as they walked down the aisle

"Thank you red and you look handsome as always" she said as she looked into my eyes "Soo can you do me a big big favor" I rolled my eyes and ended up agreeing to whatever shit she was about to put me in

"Anything for the bride" she smiled wide as she held up the garter that was in her hand

"So I didn't want any of my brothers putting this on or my son, so can you please put it on for me?" She gave me her irresistible puppy dog face as I snatched the garter out of her hands

"May you lift your leg up" she lifted up her leg. after I got down on one knee to slid it all the way up to her thigh. I squeezed it a little making her laugh

"Your such a flirt" I smiled as I stood up on both feet. She grabbed ahold of both of my hands and looked into my eyes "Are you sure your okay with this? if your not then I wont do it?" I looked into her eyes as I leaned in and kissed her on the cheek
