A month has passed and surprisingly ain't shit happend, we been waiting for devil to come at us but he didn't so the old heads said fuck it and they let us come back to school, basketball tryouts in a few days so you know I'm ready, can't wait to show my moves on the court. Autumn still in her coma but she has been moving her fingers and toes so that's a big improvement from before, me and cam surprisingly still close nothing has came in between us yet, her and Corey just associates I guess cus she told him she didn't want to be his friend, shit was just so funny, and jamir getting physical therapy since his legs are still kinda paralyze, so during school hes on crutches and after he has to go to physical therapy to get better, when they told him he couldn't play football he didn't take it as bad as i thought he would

"Iight man man remember always keep your gaurd up and remember to pass the ball to your team mates" my dad lectured as I was eating breakfast

"Pops I got 2 days I'm good, you acting like I've never played" he let out a long sigh

"Because you've only played with your boys not actually on a team" I finished my bowl of cereal and placed it in the sink

"Pops I promise I won't let you down" he nodded as i gave him a pound and made my way out the door only to hear my phone go off, when I looked at the screen I seen camilles name

"Elijah" she whined over the phone which made me laugh

"Chris left your slow ass huh" I said as I got into my car and put the seat belt on. I started my car and began driving until I had to turn down her street

"I wasn't even slow this morning man I was actually on time he just left me cus he a ass" I pulled up to her driveway, as I heard shuffling on the other end of the phone

"I'm outside so come on ma" she hung up the phone and ran outside to hop into my truck

"Swear I love you so much Elijah" she said as she kissed me on my cheek, I looked at what she had on and was wondering why she was all dressed up, I put the car in reverse and made our way to the school

"What you got a dress on for??" she let out a long sigh but a smile appeared on her face

"I told Alex if he ever tried out for the basketball team I'll try out for cheerleading, and today is tryouts but the whole day we gotta be dressed up so" I was smiling hard as shit, so Camille gonna be cheering for me huh, could really get use to that shit

"So y'all are really going all out for basketball season huh" she nodded with a smile

"Jamir said he ain't want us being cheerleaders so we waited til basketball season" I nodded as I turned the car off and grabbed her bag "I could've got that punk" I got out the car and ran over to her side to open the door

"Your welcome ugly" she rolled her eyes as I put my arm around her shoulder, she got to her locker to see that all the girls were dressed up

"Shid if y'all was gonna look this good I would've let yall be cheerleaders for us" Jamir said as cam gave him the finger as she put her bag in her locker

"I swear if I don't make this team I'm trying out for wrestling" Jordan said as nate put his arms around her waist

"Nah ya sexy ass gonna make the team" he said lowly but loud enough for us to hear which made her blush
