A/N: Sorry this was late, I've been very busy with school and show choir, but I will try to post as much as I can. Thank you guys for all the support.

Y/N's P.O.V

I woke up to the smell of bacon cooking. I walked downstairs, and Marshall Lee was in the kitchen. "Morning. You sleep really late, huh?" He said. I was too tired to respond, so I just shrugged and plopped on the couch. "If Fionna and Cake decide to stop by, you are going to be screwed. You get that right?" I said as a plate of breakfast was sat in front of me. "Yeah, but you are going to be equally as screwed, so I guess it makes everything okay. I don't even get why Cake is mad. We are just friends." At that exact moment, I felt like he took a machete and drove it straight through my heart. Now he is slowly turning and wriggling it, making the hole in my heart bigger and bigger, until there was nothing left. I don't know why him friend-zoning me hurt so much. I would've said the exact same thing if I were him. Marshall has been very kind to me, but it is only because we are friends. Nothing more, nothing less. Just... Friends. "Y/N, are you okay? You've been staring at the floor for like, 5 minutes." "Oh glob, sorry. I was just, uh, thinking. It wasn't anything important." I felt blush creep up my cheeks.

An hour later, Marshall Lee went home, leaving me to fend for my self in the dark abyss that is my train of thought. I can't comprehend if I like Marshall as a friend, or as something more. I am so confused. I can tell he is purposely confusing me, I just don't know why. I don't think he likes me back, so I won't even bother with that. Maybe he just likes to torture other people in his own sick way? I don't even know anymore. While I was thinking about the inevitability of death, my phone buzzed. I picked it up to see a text from  Fionna.

Fionna = bold

Y/N = Italics

Hey Y/N. Gumball is having a ball tonight and I am making you go. Be ready for 8 o'clock. see ya then :D

I am assuming i don't get a say in this.

No, no you don't.

I checked the time, only to see that I had about an hour to get ready. I scanned my closet for something to wear until I spotted this.

I forgot the reason I bought this, and the tag was still on it. With a few extra accessories, I was ready to go.

As I entered the Candy Kingdom with Fionna and Cake, all eyes were on me. I felt a small tint of blush creep up on my cheeks. "Why the glob did you drag me here Fi?" I asked. "I know someone here that wanted to see you, and I thought it was the perfect opportunity." I didn't fully understand what she meant by 'opportunity,' but I knew who she was talking about when she said they wanted to see me. There was no doubt about it. I was right.

Cliff hanger but not really due to the fact that it's pretty obvious. Anyways, I am so so so sooo sorry this wasn't up sooner. I had show choir very late this entire week and I didn't have time to finish this chapter until now. On the bright side, I am an official dance captain for show choir this year! If you don't know what that is, it means I get to help all the kids who have trouble with the dances and everyone looks up to me and stuff. It is going to be hard for me to fulfill everyone's expectations, but I will try my hardest to succeed. Anyways, I will start chapter 4 tomorrow, and I will hopefully get it up because you guys deserve it. Sorry about my long authors notes by the way. I'll go watch Soul Eater now.  Bye guys.
