Wow, it feels different waking up to a room that doesn't smell like a hospital.
"How are you feeling?"
"Pretty good, considering I've been out of it for a while."
"Yeah, you scared me. Look, about that, I'm really sorry. It was all my fault. Taking you to that place, letting you get hurt, I just- I feel awful. I'm sorry."
"It's not your fault, stop blaming yourself. But I apreciate the thought." I looked at him for a little bit, studying his face like it's the last time I will ever see him. At this point I had no control of my body, I stood up, slowly walked obe to him, and I kissed him. It was a short kiss, a sweet one. But it felt like forever. We pulled away, I smiled. He smiled back.
"I love you."
"I love you too." He had something on his mind, but he wouldn't say it.
