Once all the younger students cleared out of the hall McGonagall stood up and had all the 7th year stand to the side. McGonagall made all but one table disappear making it in the middleof the hall.
McGonagall-" as I call your name boys will sit on the right and girl on the left side in the order I call you. Harry Potter- Ginny Weasley Ronald Weasley - lavender brown Neville longbottom - Luna lovegood"
And the names went like that till there was only 4 names left. Hermione looked around and saw that there was only her,pansy, Draco and Blaise.
Percy Weasley and the new minster of magic Kingsley Shacklebolt walked in and made sure the girls were sitting in front of the right boy.
Kingsley-" due to the drastic drop in numbers of the Wizarding community we are putting a marriage law in affect now and we have already put you into pairs and the person across from you is now your fiancé. You will have 1 year to get married and 3 years to produce a child. Please inform me of a date that you will be married on as soon as you have picked a date. Failure to meet the dead line can result in exile from the Wizarding community or worse demerts kiss. If there is no baby within the 3 years we will alow you to provide some proof that you are at least trying and than you will be further instructed from there. I believe Headmistress McGonagall wanted to say a few words.
Hermione looked around than looked at Percy who shook his head at her.
McGonagall-" thank you. As of now the boys will share their dorms with the girls across from you.
Hermione looked across at Draco who had an unreadable expression on his face.
McGonagall -" as for additional there will be a mandatory couples counseling every night after dinner here in the Great Hall and you will be required to share at least two dinners with your partner and at least one dinner with your partner and one other pair girls your stuff has already been taken to your new dorms Kingsley did you have any more that you needed to say"
Kingsley-" no no that is everything"
McGonagall-" thank you for coming now everybody you are excused to head to your dorm"
Harry-" hey Ginny at least you don't have to sneak into my room anymore"
Ron-" I'm going to pretend that all you do is holding hands yes holding hands only "
Hermione-" don't be so naive Ron"
McGonagall walks up to them
McGonagall-" Hermione may I see you in my office before you head down to your dorm"
Hermione -"lead the way "
They went up in the headmistress's office Hermione sees Percy sitting there in a chair.
Percy-" have you told anybody"
Hermione -"no I haven't
Percy -" don't be mad at me but I told Professor McGonagall and Kingsley shacklebolt "
Hermione -"no of course I'm not mad but why partner me with Draco"
Percy -"because we couldn't just leave him out and we couldn't find a partner "
Hermione-" o i see"
Percy-" you and Draco are excused from all of this but you do have to follow the couples counseling and the dinner stuff "
Hermione said sarcastically-" this should be fun."
McGonagall -"I shall talk to Madam Pomfrey to see what we can do please stop in sometime tomorrow to discuss more about your moriens animam."
Hermione -"yes of course "
McGonagall-" you are free to go I think Mr Malfoy is waiting for you outside the door have a have a good night and we will have a discussion tomorrow "
Percy-" and you don't have to tell him anything you don't want to "
Hermione-" right"
Hermione leaves the office and sees Draco just leaning against the wall opposite of the gargoyle
Draco-" is everything okay"
Hermione -"yeah she just wanted to talk to me about my future career possibilities"
Draco-" cool so what are you thinking"
Hermione-" something in healing so I might be spending a lot of time in the hospital wing helping Pomfrey "
they start walking to draco's dorm as they get near to the Slytherin common room Hermione realizes that she would be the first muggle-born into Slytherin common room and she freezes outside the entrance to the Slytherin common room
Draco-" what's the matter
Hermione-" nothing nothing I just can't be the first mudblood enter into Slytherin common "
Draco gets dark look on his face
Draco-"DON'T EVER CALL YOURSELF THAT AGAIN. but you are right you're going to be the first muggle-born into the SLYTHERIN common area but don't worry I'll have your back"
