When Hermione and Draco got back they looked around and saw the 4 long tables gone and enough desks in sets of 2 facing each other for every couple. All the other couples had came back and everyone sat down facing their partners and McGonagall stood up.

McGonagall " I'm going to hand out these folders inside you will find a list of things that must be completed with and there will be enough room for you to write down your thoughts as you complete each of these tasks "( a/n I will not be too descriptive of what is inside of the task I will later put folder and number that will tell you which one and the new chapter headline to indicate when they are about to complete a task from their folder.) "for now you will talk amongst yourselves and come up with a schedule of when you are going to have your dinners with your partner and your dinner with another couple. You can also use this time to get to know each other.

McGonagall handed out the folders leaving Hermione and Draco last. After she handed out all the folders the hall started to fill with chatter

Hermione-" I was thinking that we could write down all the couples that we want to have dinner with and put the names in a jar and take turns picking one out. "

Draco-" sounds fair. How should we decided who pulls out the first name "

Hermione-" we could always do paper rock sisscors "

Draco-" what's that "

Hermione-" never mind that how about bubble gum in a dish "

Draco-" never heard that one "

Hermione screams " YOU'RE KILLING ME SMALLS "

Draco-" no try Malfoy "

Hermione face palms herself

On the other side of the hall Harry and ginny were talking

Harry-" ok lets look at the folders "

Ginny-" wow look at the first task"

Harry-" ya I think we have that covered "

Ginny-" hey task 2 looks fun"

Harry-" me first I have the perfect idea "

Ginny-" great that will give me time to come up with an idea"

Harry-" what is your favorite animal"

Suddenly Hermione screams " YOU'RE KILLING ME SMALLS " and Draco said " no try Malfoy.

The hole hall burst out laughing and Harry gits up and goes to Hermione and Draco

Harry-" what's going on "

Hermione-" apparently Draco doesn't know paper rock sisscors, bubble gum in a dish and not even The Sand Lot"

Draco-" am I supposed to know these things "

Harry-" well you are marring a muggle-born "

No one but Ginny sees the sad look in Hermione eyes

Draco-" ok I'm will take muggle studies "

Hermione-" you would do that for me"

Draco-" if it makes you happy. I will do anything to make you happy "

At that point McGonagall stood up and got everyones attention and said that they need to make sure to write in the folders and to bring them to every couple counseling and that they were dismissed for the night and handed out the timetables for the lessons and everyone started to go to. Ginny grabbed Hermione by the arm and Pulled her to a secret room just across from the great Hall.

Hermione-" ow what was that for"

Ginny-" I need you to be honest with me you and Malfoy seem to be happy but at the mention of marriage you look sad what is going on you're always crying you act like you have no strength at all were you even looking for your parents or do you know what happened to them or where they are are you lying to us about your parents please Hermione you're my best friend just want you to be honest with me"

Hermione-" yes I found my parents but if you want me to be honest you gotta promise that you won't tell anybody until I'm ready to tell "

Ginny -"what happened Hermione "

Hermione -"when I found my parents home there was the dark mark above it I don't think I need to explain anymore we all know what that means but the day after I found them I became really ill I went to St. Mungo's oh Ginny I'm so scared"

Ginny-" what's wrong Hermione now you are the one that starting to scare me"

Hermione-" have you ever heard of moriens animam. "

Ginny -"yes I've heard of that I was starting to read about different diseases like it Hermione please please tell me you don't have moriens animam."

Hermione-" I'm afraid I do I don't know how long I have but I do know I want to enjoy as much time as I can "

Ginny-" who all knows"

Hermione -"Percy, Kingsley shacklebolt and Professor McGonagall

Genny-"does Draco know "

Hermione-" no I'd like to keep it that way"

Ginny-" you don't even have one year do you"

Hermione -"no 10 months at the most unless they somehow miraculously come up with the cure for it"

Ginny -"Hermione it makes me so sad"

Hermione-" and that would be why I didn't tell anybody

Ginng-"this doesn't make sense why would the minister pair you if he new"

Hermione -"it's sort of sick and twisted but they couldn't pair up Draco with anybody else so they chose me until they find somebody else for Draco but can I make a confession I think I'm falling in love with him "

Ginny-" I knew it but why does my brother know and not me"

Hermione-" I asked him to be my benefactor "

Ginny-" I think I'm going to cry"

Hermione-" please don't cry it causes wrinkles"

Ginny-" you really think I care about wrinkles right now "

Hermione -"no"

Ginny-" you got that right girlfriend I will talk to Harry and see what I can do to get our wedding moved from the date that we had planned don't worry I won't say anything to him about the real reason I will tell him I just can't wait "

Hermione-" well you are Ginny Weasley "

Ginny-" you're right I can never wait for anything can I "

Hermione -" no and that is why you are my best friend "

Hermione-" awwwww you are my best friend too "

Ginny -" will you be my maid of honor "

Hermione -" I am flattered and yes I'll be your maid of honour"

and the girls left to go to their own dorm.

When Hermione got back to her dorm with Draco Draco asked where she was Hermione said oh I was just with Ginny and she asked me to be her maid of honour at her wedding and draco asked when her wedding said she didn't know yet but she wanted me to be the maid of honour
