Chapter 7

Amelia

Sitting in my new room with the door closed, I get a chance to relax away from William piercing eyes. He was very sweet, very different from the last time I saw him. Something has changed him. Dressed in my yoga pants I started doing simple yoga relaxing floor exercise.
Half an hour later. I feel better.
I had a shower, got dressed in a simple knee hight summer dress, than unpack the few items I brought from Miami.  William and Lucy have not returned yet. l went exploring the penthouse library for something to read. As per the plans I found the door that lead to the library. It was a big room with a beautifull sky light and a huge grand piano by the window. Sofas and confortable chairs all around. This must be a very special room. There are family fotos all around of william, Kate, their parents and others, most likely family or friends.
The books were mostly english literature and architecture . I chose pride and Prejudice one of my all time favourite books. I wanted to stay in the library, it had such a homy feel but decided against it I don't think William will like it if I invaded such a personal space.  I should ask him first.
I settled in the living room with the book and started reading.

William

Lucy was a handfull in the pool. Very energetic and a good swimmer. She said that Amelia thought her how to swim. Kate hated puting her head under the water. She was a very bad swimmer.

"What else auntie Amy thougtht you"
"She is teaching me how to play the piano. I can play the birthday song, Mary had a little lamb and twinkle twinle little star." She is very close to Amelia. She hardly spoke about Kate.

"Well that's good because we have a piano upstairs and you guys can play all the time if you like."

Amelia must be very good with kids that's why she became a teacher. She will make a great mother one day. I always wanted to have a big family. I have money who better to share it than with family. All is missing is the right woman. Can Amelia be that woman??? She is one special girl nothing like her brother. I like her more every day I need to make my move tonight. I need to know how she feels about me.

"Time to go Lucy"

"One more race"

"Ok"

"I am the mermaid and you are the shark you run after me"

"Ok you go first"

I gave her a head start than I dive behind her slowly. I got her by the feet just before she reached the end of the pool.

"I got you." I said

But somehow she dived and managed to escape.

"No you didn't" she said happily.

"Oh well next time I guess.
Let's go and clean up"

I got her dry. Than wrap the towel around her than did the same. We both headed upstairs to clean up

Amelia was in the living room reading. She stood when she spoted us. Her lips parted and she was blushing than I realise I had no top on. Only my swiming trunk. I affect her like she affect me. That's good news.

"I can clean up Lucy." She suggested.

"That will be great... I will have a shower than I start dinner. Lucy is very hungry."
