Angel's P.O.V

Every so often, my eyes would drift towards Tyler's.... Modification. I still can't believe we pulled it off.. Well the doc pulled it off.

Shivers wracked my body as I stared at the hanging clocks, unable to decipher the meaning behind all the presence of all the time keepers.

Hopefully poison isn't cold. My eyes drifted towards where the doc and Poison were in an intense argument. No doubt over the price.

Personally I don't think it's that bad. For poison it's the end of the world.

"We have decided that it's just a hugging picture." I nodded, not missing the grimace on her adorable face and irritation glittering in her hazel eyes.

Alex just stood there beside me with this look of complete confusion as he watched us get into positions.

Poison and I faced each other, awkwardly wrapping our arms around each other. I took this moment to take in her scent, an irresistible mixture of rain pattered Lillies and Roses. In my arms, I could feel her every curve.

The sound of a camera clicking filled my ears as I forcefully dragged my arms away from her.

Maniacally giggling, the doctor stared at the camera. "I sheeeeeeeeeep it." His thick Russian accent making his words hard to understand.

He repeated this over and over, his maniacal giggling as he flapped his hands like wings.

"Uh okay, let's get out of here." Alex tugged on my sleeve, leading me out of the crooked bungalow with Poison in tow. A thoughtful expression etched over her features, making her nose scrunch up and her plump lips to slightly pout.

BAD ANGEL NO DONT LOOK AT YOUR PARTNER LIKE THAT!

But..

NO BAD ASSASSIN.

"Hey angel you okay?" Her angelic voice pierced my mental argument.

"Uh yeah let's just get rid of him and quickly just looking at him makes me feel queasy." I could feel my lunch making its way up my throat already.

She only smirked. "Iron stomach Angelo Rodriquez." I stuck my tongue out her but quickly retracting it as the food drew dangerously closer.

Alex, unlike the two of us, was being uncharacteristically quiet. His eyes glued to the modifications made to Poison's brother. I put a hand on his shoulder reassuringly, a small smile grew on the young boy's face at the gesture.

By the time we had finally clawed out of the doc's clutches we were in the car and rearing the engine.

"Okay have foooon okay dar-lingss! Really Safety drive okay?" His fluent English cracking slightly, the doctor wave madly as the car reversed and soon we were slithering up the old countryside road.

We were silent, but I could still hear the giggling and shrieking of the doctor as he swooned in excitement about the payment repeating the same phrase over and over 'I sheeeeeeeeep it' and 'cannon it kolkolkolkol.'

I rolled my eyes, shuffling my legs awkwardly as I tried to lift the comfortable silence hanging over the Ferrari.

"Soooooo we're going to go ahead with the plans tomorrow then?" I tilted my head slightly, drinking in the beautiful sunshine peering through the thick hills of cloud.

The brown haired assassin didn't reply, merely nodding, affirming.

Not missing the way her maple coloured eyes darted at the unconscious body in the back seat, I hung my arm out of the window, cherishing the feeling of the wind sliding between my fingers, dashing back in a blind fit of panic.

After 30 minutes of just idle chatter with Alex and a few jokes on Tyler's behalf we finally arrived.

My partner gestured to the boot of the Ferrari where a certain case of props essential for the plan to work. Alex offered to help, I accepted, chuckling at his relief to escape the clutches of the other boy in the back.

Together, we heaved the surprisingly heavy leather case from the boot. Dusting it off, I let the case's locks off, making a satisfying click before the case's lid was lifted up.

Revealing the contents Alex's eyes almost popped out of his head in surprise.

Let's get to work.
