The beginning of the end

Only two words can describe what has just ignited the fire of animosity in my flowery soul.

Thomas Macavalley.

That is right, the devil himself has decided to play ANOTHER trick on me. At this particular moment I suspended six feet in the air by a webbed net that is used for catching the bore for our fall festival.

Some say that I always jump to conclusions about him. "He is a sweet lad, he could never be capable of the actions in which you accuse him of." That is what they all say. Fortunately enough for the young chap, no one has ever witnessed the unthinkable things he has bestowed upony person.

All of this started about a decade ago...

I was walking through Nrookwood forest on my way to my Aunt and Unclea for a day of general amusement with my evolving family, my aunt happened to receive news that she was with child so we were to celebrate.

I was treading down Palamars Path when I heard a terrifying screech coming from the direction of the villages collective well. I rushed in the direction as fast as my clogs could carry me.

When I was a close distance away I saw him. Little Thomas. He was remarkable smaller compared to his future form. He was at the edge of the well trying to keep his sister Maraliza from falling to her doom into a fifty foot whole of ground water.

Maraliza happened to be a close friend of mine, her and I smuggled serveral berries from the annual pickings and shared fantasy stories we created among the full moon. I had to help her at any cost.

I crouched among the soil beside the well and pulled at Maraliza. Thomas was shoved away and after saving Maraliza from her downfall Thomas fell in.

Maraliza and I clung to each other with great ardor. We were to destracted to register the echoed screams claiming the forest. Once Maraliza and I separated did my heart panic.

I ordered Maraliza to get help at once as I attempted to used the roped pale to bring Thomas to the surface. In the end I succeeded, far before the others came to assist.

Thomas looked beyond shaken when his feet were firmly planted on the ground. I did try to used words of comfort to soothe him, but my reward was a glare that could demoralize even the most devoted saints... And a slight push down fifty feet of brick and moist soil.

Ever since that regretted day I have been withstanding punishments that only those of the deserved nature should receive.

I honestly have no idea what I did to bring on such negative behavior but it sure did eleviate from my intended path.

"Well, well, well. It seems I have caught me a wild bore," a voice taunted.

I felt a chill rise up the curvature of my spine, " You find this amusing do you Thomas?"

"Of course I do," I heard a low chuckle reply.

"May I ask why you keep doing this to me repeatedly? What have I done to wrong you so?" I asked reasonably.

"If you have to ask, again, then you are deluding yourself." I heard him grunt.

Well that was as coherent as my father after the fall festival smearing contest.

" Fine. Since you are avoiding a simple question why don't I ask you another. What do you plan on doing with me now, since you have me at you desposal?" I didn't mean for that to come out A's crude A's it seemed but it was too late to make a modest retrieval of that comment.

I heard Thomas chuckle again, " I haven't quite decided, yet."

I could almost feel his mischievous smile.
