*GERARD'S POINT OF VIEW*
There was a sudden, quick thud against the door. I at first ignored it until I heard a voice yell.
It was one of the gang.
I hurriedly went to the mirror and fixed my black eyeliner which took all of thirteen seconds. I had had enough practice in rushing with it. Opening the door, I saw an unconscious Frankie (his name is Frank Gerard remember that) on the floor, four brats surrounding him.
I gave them a look of disgust, but slowly-how I had practiced-morphed my face into a horrifying smile. To describe it would be like that on creepy pasta, Jeff the Killer's, smile, except my teeth never showed. They all took a step back and looked scared at the least. This made me smile more.
"Now, you can either stay and see what happens, or you can leave and never touch him again." I said it steadily, but I couldn't keep the venom out of my voice. Thy immediately began to speed walk away and disappeared behind the corridor's curve. I tried to do the best maniac's laugh I could to scare them more.
I guess it worked a bit too much because it made Frank woke up.
Oh dang.
"G-Gerard?" He squinted at me before closing his eyes again. They really hit him good... "Um.. Hello?" Hello? Seriously? That's all you got? I mentally rolled my eyes at myself.
I attempted to grab him from underneath his arms. "N-" he halfway got out before I clamped my hand over his mouth.
Still asleep.
I rolled my eyes down at him. I attempted-and succeeded- in picking him up bridal style. I hoped to God that no one had heard and came down here, watching. What would they think if they saw "scary Gerard" carrying the new boy who was as scary as a newborn puppy?
I walked into the room and lightly pressed my back to the door to shut it. There was no way that I was going to leave him on the other side on his bed. He could scream again to where at least SOMEONE would hear..
I went to my bed and sat down, shifting ever so slightly at a time until my back was to the wall and Frank was propped up in my lap. His face was laced with worry. I didn't want him to be awake because he might freak out, but that was better than him not knowing who attacked him or why he would wake up on my bed.
"Frank..?" I whispered. He slightly stirred. "Fraaank!" I said in a sing-song tone. His eyes moved underneath his eyelids until they finally rose to show the green sea beneath them. "Hm?" he mumbled. His eyes squinted at me, but they slowly widened. "Are you with those guys? Will you hurt me?!" he shook violently in my arms, but I tried to explain to calm him down.
"The people are known as 'the gang' no matter if you see them separate, in couples, or in the full group. They beat up on EVERYONE that's new or weak, so don't feel bad. You just have to make sure you stand up to them, then they'll have a healthy amount of fear and respect for you. I mean, I'm the only one that has that from them, but.. Frank, it's okay, alright? Everything is going to be fine." I just barely pulled him closer so that I could stop him from shaking as much as he was.
"I'm s-sorry, did they hit y-you?" he quickly asked, looking at me with his puppy (no regular) eyes. His body was tense until now when it finally relaxed a bit. His head was probably killing him!
"Of course I'm fine!" I laughed slightly before going silent. "You, on the other hand, aren't so good.." I moved my left arm from underneath his legs and gingerly touched his now bruised left cheek. His gaze targeted to mine, never moving. I slowly moved my hand away. Why had he affected me like this? I should've just left him at the door and say I didn't hear a sound over my music. He wouldn't be in my arms or so close to me.. Especially his face..
I fought off that urge and instead wrapped the arm I had used to touch his bruise around his back, pulling him up into a hug. "Sorry if I'm freaking you out at the moment, but I didn't want you having nightmares over there.." I mumbled. Unexpectedly, I felt his arms snake around my back and tighten.
"Thank yo-you.." he whispered into the crook of my neck. He was still sitting in my lap with his legs facing the door. "C-Can I maybe sleep h-here?" You know, so I don't scream with a nightmare in the night or something of course," He quickly added. I smiled fully (wait why) and nodded my head. I removed my arms from his back and put them back to how they were, lifting him onto the flat surface of the bed. It wasn't that hard because of his height. I could have carried him a lot farther in any situation by how light he was!
"Go ahead and go to sleep, Frank. I'm going to go walking for a bit.. They aren't going to get away for that." I had intended on having Frank not hear that last part.
Should've remembered that he was right freaking there.
"Ha. Hah." He sarcastically said. His eyes went the tiniest bit bigger and were a shade brighter than before. "Like THAT'S gonna happen. It's four of them, Gerard; there's only one of you." He had sat up slightly, but had inced and lay-ed back down. "I will follow you if you are still going to go," he added nonchalantly. AGH! I can't have him following me, no chance! "Your hardheadedness is going to clash with mine often, if you haven't realized. Just go to sleep, Frank." I sighed, feeling tired suddenly. I shimmied down to the end of the bed, walking towards the door. "Gerard, I SWE-" "Relaaax, I'm just turning of the light!" I exasperatedly said. I flipped the switch, turning the room into complete darkness.
I squeezed between the space of Frank and the wall to get back onto the bed. "Just try and sleep, mkay?" I mumbled. I didn't hear a response. Opening my eyes, I saw that he had already fell asleep.
At least he didn't snore.
