"Ludwig, loosen up a little yeah?"
"This was a stupid idea."
"Don't say that."
The two men went quiet afterwards. Nothing could be heard in the gym besides uncoordinated steps. The occasional squeak from Ludwigs leather shoes. Somehow Feliciano kept a smile plastered on his face, despite being stepped on a few times during the whole process. Ludwig on the other hand, looked completely flustered. The face got worse when he heard the squeaks from his shoes start to become more frequent then he would've liked.
"Ludwig you're not going to get any better if you keep this up."
"I didn't even want to do this to begin with!" The German teen snapped.
Feliciano shrunk back a little, flinching and looking away from him. "Then quit."
His steps came to a completely halt before looking down at his friend...? Could he consider him that? "If I could I would."
2 Weeks Earlier
Ludwig was running down the hallway with a files tucked safely under his arm. He was never going to hear the end of it. He could feel it. Maybe he should turn back and run out of the school. If he kept up the space he could possibly in end up in a another state in the matter of a few hours. That'd be a good idea right? He could start over, live alone, forget about his insane gir-
His thoughts came to a sudden halt. Ludwig ran into one of the students on campus, sending the other kid flying back while he stumbled back. His files all over the hallway.
"Are you alright? I'm so sorry." Ludwig yelled, getting on his knees picking up all of his loose papers. "I wasn't paying attention and I am very late for a meeting. I have to get going."
"No wait!"
As Ludwig was getting up ready to take off again, the voice piped up. For a hot minute he could've sworn that was Feliciano. The cheeriness in his voice. But the accent...
"What is it?"
The Finnish teen eyes almost complete lit up realising the student body president did just take off running. "Oh! I've been wanting to talk to you for a very long time. I have a great idea! Since Christmas is coming up soon why don't we do a Christmas assembly yeah?"
"Yeah... sure! I'll get back to you on that!"
Ludwig wasn't really paying attention. He had more important things on his mind, that whole statement just went in through one ear and out the other. He quickly dashed off to the end of the hall way, while he heard a string of 'Thank you's' coming from the other teen at the end of the hallway.
He'll figure that out later. What's the worst could happen right? Right..?
He quickly found out that the worst that could have possibly happened was way better than the current situation he was in. Ludwig was mentally screaming, when he found out from his Vice President that he had to supervise a assembly.
The mental screaming got way worse when he found out that Sophia went out of her way to put the two of them as one of the acts in the assembly.
Soon after finding out what he had just managed to get himself into he went of his way to possibly avoid any of this nonsense. Often times take different routes to get to class just so he wouldn't have to see Sophia. He even went as far as running out of student council meetings to just not have to see her. He was more than determined to weasel his way out of this no matter what it took.
This... only worked for a couple of days before Sophia got completely tired of it, and went to his house to go get him herself.
She stood in from of the door impatiently taping her shoe waiting for someone to open the door. Ludwig peaked out the window and let out a sigh, maybe he stayed in long enough she's go away.
