I climbed out of my aunts car, pulling my bag onto my shoulder and walking up to the front door of the house.

April walked into with me following close behind.

"We have a spare bedroom, you can go put your stuff in there." She spoke and pointed to the stairs.

I padded up the steps and to the room and set my bag on the bed, pulling my jacket off and put it on a hanger in the closet.

I walked out of the room and back down the stairs, and towards the kitchen were my aunt and her husband, my uncle, Sean, stood.

"Jack will be here soon with his friend, he's staying for dinner." Sean spoke about his son who is one year older than me.

"Oh okay... What are we having for dinner?" I replied awkwardly.

"We're having spaghetti and meatballs, nothing spectacular." My aunt spoke.

"Okay." I said and took a seat at the table, not knowing we're else to go.

I bet it's gonna be really weird living with them. Not because I don't like them, just because I don't want to take advantage of them. I don't know how I will be able to pay for collage, I just finished high school last year. I don't have enough money and I don't want to have my uncle and aunt pay for it, that would just be rude.

I didn't even noticed I dosed out into my own little world of thought until I herd my uncle speak. "Hey Jack, Harry." I saw my cousin and a guy with plenty of tattoos follow behind. I'm not gonna lie, I felt intimidated

"Hey mom, Hey Deli?" He paused. "Why are you here."

"My dad." I replied quietly, feeling even more awkward than before.

"Oh.... Harry this is my cousin Delilah. Deli this is Harry." Jack spoke.

"Hi." I said and looked down at my toes. I don't like new people, especially people that looked like him. They creep me out.

"Dinner is done, you guys can take a seat." April said to the boys and my uncle.

Harry quickly took a seat next to me, which I thought was kinda weird, since normally you sit next to your friend when you are over, but whatever. Jack sat across the table, and Sean taking a seat at the head of the table.

My aunt put a overly proportioned plate in front of me and quickly put plates in front of everyone else, and took a seat across from her husband, leaving an empty seat next to Jack.

After a few minuets of eating and small talk, that I didn't participate in, my uncle spoke

"So Deli, what happened with your dad?"

"Um... he's an alcoholic, if you didn't already know that which I'm pretty sure you already do. So he was drunk and told me to get out of the house and don't come back." I paused. "The reason.. I have no clue. But the thing that made me really sad was the fact that my 'mother' didn't say a word. It just killed me inside."

I lifted up my hand and wiped the moisture from my eyes that I didn't even know was there until my vision blurred.

"I'm sorry." He said the same thing his wife said about an hour ago.

"Its okay." I spoke quietly and looked down at my almost empty plate moving the noodles around.

After that they went back to their conversations, me slowly eating the rest of my dinner. I brought my food up to my mouth, and then felt a hand place itself on my thigh, and I almost dropped my fork.

I looked over at Harry and saw him smirking at me.

I gave him a 'What the hell' look and tried pushing his hand off but it didn't budge, he just gripped my thigh tighter.
