Ashton stayed at Michaels and Calums that night which made Joy and Karen really happy, but also concerned because Luke wasn't with him.
They were all sat around the kitchen table enjoying breakfast that Karen had made. They sat in silence with just the sound of cutlery hitting plates and Rebels snors.
"So boys where is Luke?" Joy asks before taking a sip of her coffee, finally ending the loud silence. Ashton and Michael tense up while Calum tries to play it cool, but both moms noticed.
"Okay what happened?" Karen demanded in her mom voice. They were so close to tour the boys couldn't be fighting now.
"It was nothing mom." Calum said while trying to give Karen a reassuring smile, but she saw right through him.
"Okay if it's nothing then he can come over for dinner tonight, Calum call him and tell him he has no say in this, and if he refuses I will call Liz and get her on his ass till he is in this house." Karen gave a final nod before clearing everyone's plate, including Rebels who had fallen asleep on her plate.
Calum knew that there was no fighting with Karen, she got what she wanted. So he picked up his phone and texted Luke.
'Hey mate, Mama Clifford wants u over for dinner, you can't say no either or her and mama Hood will drag you here.'
It only took a second for him to get a reply.
'mkay, can i bring arzaylea? is ash alright?'
"Mom can he bring his girlfriend?" Calum looked up at Karen who had a shocked look on her face.
"I thought he was gay? I was literally there for his coming out party." Karen asked while looking at her two boys.Then over at Joy and Mali who also had shocked faces.
"Yeah well apparently not, they have been dating for 2-3 days now." Ashton said with a bit of sass in his voice that Karen did not appreciate but she put two and two together and kept her mouth shut.
"I guess he can, Joy and I would like to meet her." Karen answered the question finally. She really wanted to meet the girl that made the gayest boy she knew straight.
Calum texted Luke to let him know the answer and then went over to Rebel who was still asleep, he picked her up and took her to her bed, then walked back into the kitchen and watched as Michael drank the rest of Calums coffee.
"Mike get your own coffee." Calum told him while grabbing his now empty cup from the boy who just smiled up at him.
