Chapter 28

The boys had a concert tonight, and then we were all going to be heading off to some random part of Ireland, that I had never been. Niall was quite excited for it, and was dying to show everyone around.

Harry was keeping a close eye on me, once we got to the venue for the concert. He held my hand tightly, and made sure I was with him at all times. I could tell that he was freaking out over what would happen when he had to go on stage, and I didn't know what I could do to ease his mind.

"I won't leave the side of the stage, okay? I'll stay with Perrie." I said to Harry reassuringly.

"He can still pull something Scarlet; I don't want...I don't know what to do." Harry said running his hand through his hair nervously.

"Babe, you need to calm down. I will be fine." I said.

"What if you aren't? I can only see so much from the stage, and I don't want anything to happen that I can't control." Harry said.

"Harry, listen to me. I will stand with Perrie the whole time. Brian wouldn't dare do anything with other people knowing. Everything is going to be okay. You need to chill, and compose yourself because your fans will know if you are off. You need to be happy, and have fun at your concert. Don't worry about me, or Brian, or anything. All you need to focus on, is singing, and putting on a good show for your fans. This is your job, and that's what you will do." I said.

Harry nodded, and pulled me into a tight hug.

"Don't go to the bathroom, please." Harry whispered.

I let out a small chuckle.

"Not making that mistake again." I stated, rubbing Harry's back softly.

Paul came over, and told Harry, he needed to get dressed, for the show would be starting soon. Harry took my hand in his, and we headed backstage.

When we got there, I joined Perrie, and Harry left my side for the first time that night.

"He is so nervous Scarlet." Perrie whispered.

"I know, I feel really bad." I said back.

"Did you tell him you would stay here with me the entire time?" Perrie asked.

"Yeah, nothing worked. I literally said everything I could, and he just won't let it go." I said.

"Did you tell him you love him?" Perrie asked.

"No?" I said confused.

"Before he goes on stage, tell him you love him, and let Brian hear you." Perrie said.

I nodded in agreement, and waited for Harry to come back. Perrie and I stood and chatted, while we waited for the boys.

Finally Harry appeared again, and he made his way over to me. Brian was standing a few feet away.

"I need to go soon." Harry whispered.

"I'll be fine okay?" I said.

Harry nodded.

"I know." He said quietly.

I stood on the tip of my toes, and pressed my lips to Harry's.

"Good luck, and have fun. I love you." I said genuinely.

"I love you too." Harry said, pecking my lips one more time before running onto the stage.

I smiled, as I watched him perform. He had so much joy in his eyes, and I couldn't help but keep a goofy grin on my face.

I felt a tap on my shoulder, and turned around only to come face to face with Brian.

"Ah!" I shouted. He scared the life out of me.
