Chapter 38

Harry placed one last lingering kiss on my lips, before we returned to the T.V. room. Harry sat back on the couch, and pulled me back into his lap.

"Everything okay?" Niall asked softly.

Harry nodded.

"Yeah, thanks." Harry whispered back.

Niall nodded, and looked up at me. He saw my puffy eyes.

"What's the matter?" He asked me.

"Nothing." I whispered.

"Did you get in a fight?" Niall asked.

"No, no everything's fine." I whispered.

"Alright, as long as you're okay." Niall said.

I smiled, and he gave my knee a gentle squeeze. The movie continued on, and I slowly closed my eyes, falling asleep on Harry's chest.

When I woke up, mostly everyone was gone; Niall and Liam were the only ones left, and Harry and I of course. No one saw me wake up, so I closed my eyes and pretended to sleep; wanting to hear what was going on.

"What happened with Scarlet tonight?" Niall asked.

"What do you mean?" Harry replied.

"You two like just disappeared for a bit, and then when you came back she looked a mess, and I don't know." Niall said.

"There was a bit of an issue, but everything is fine now." Harry said.

"Well what happened?" Liam asked.

"I don't know if she like wants it going around, and I certainly do not want to fight with her over it." Harry said.

"We are your best mates Harry; you can tell us what's going on. I can tell whatever it is, is bothering you." Liam said.

"It's not really bothering me, well I guess in a way it is, but it's not affecting me directly, I guess." Harry said.

"Well, what's going on?" Niall asked.

Harry sighed a little. I knew he wanted to tell the boys, and I didn't mind if he did. They were his friends, and they deserved to know what was going on. If he told them, I wouldn't have gotten mad at him.

"Scarlet is feeling a bit down on herself, and like tonight at dinner she didn't eat much, and so when she was in the bedroom I asked her what was going on, and she had been receiving a bit or a load of Twitter hate, telling her she was gaining weight, and it all made her a bit self-conscious." Harry said.

Niall and Liam nodded, and waited for Harry to go on.

"So during the movie, she was a bit tense so I pulled her off to the bathroom, just to talk a little, and try to help her work things out with herself." Harry said.

"Did you tell her that the girls on Twitter were just jealous?" Liam asked.

"I tried, but none of it really seemed to help a lot, and I just wish that she could see that she really isn't gross like she thinks." Harry said.

"Does she like hate herself?" Niall asked sadly.

"Yeah." Harry replied quietly.

"That's awful. She's an amazing girl, and she shouldn't be putting herself through this." Liam said.

"I know, and I tried to tell her that, but she just...I guess when you feel that low on yourself, and really have nothing left to give, no matter how many times you are told otherwise from what you think, the thought you believe is always in your head." Harry said.
