The bad boy is my new best friend

Chapter 16

My eyes hurt from lack of sleep and were so heavy. I couldn't sleep though because I was so scared that Chase would do something in my sleep. I loose more hope every minute that I am trapped here. I don't even know if anyone knows I'm gone. I have cried so much that I can't cry anymore. Every time Chase comes in he will do something to hurt me. Weather that is punch me, kick me, or verbally attack me I never know. I think I have been here for one night because I was kidnapped at the party last night and it is starting to get lighter in here from the window.

I heard the door open and my head snapped up. "We have to go to school!" Chase yelled from the doorway.

"Why would you let me go to school where I could tell people what happened?"

"You won't because whoever you tell will end up hurt!" He spat in my face. "You will meet me at my locker after school."

I nodded and realized I couldn't tell anyone. I couldn't risk someone I love getting hurt. It just wasn't worth it. He threw a bunch of makeup at me and told me to get ready and to cover up my bruises.

When I finished getting ready he unlocked my door and shoved me through the house and out the door to his car.

We arrived at school and I had to plaster the most fake smile I have ever had to do on my face.  Everyone stared and whispered saying I was a slut that already ditched Cole. I could feel tears brim the corners of my eyes as I listened to everyone talking about me. "Remember tell no one!" Chase whispered in my ear.

I walked down the hall and saw Hope waiting at my locker like she does everyday. "Shit!" I mumbled to myself. I can't lie to her I never could she always can see right through them. "Hey Soph!" I heard her yell through the hallway.

I made my way over to her bracing myself for the lye to come. "Why the hell did you come to school with Chase!" She yelled in my ear.

"H-he just gave me a ride because I was walking."

She eyed me down staring at me in disbelief but decided to drop it. "I need to go to class," I quickly said.

"Wait I need to tell you something!"

"What is it Hope I need to go!"

"Cole had been looking for you all night," she said, "he called me every hour asking if I heard from you and I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't come to school today just so he can look for you."

I let out I breathe of air. Her words made my heart break. He was looking for me all night. I want to find him and hug him forever and never leave his side.

"Okay well I need to go."

She sighed and turned around walking in the opposite direction.

HOPE'S POV*

She was acting really weird today. I was really worried about her, she seemed like she was trying to avoid something. I pulled out my phone and started to call someone.

They answered on the first ring like I thought they would. "Cole I found her!"

"What where is she!"

"She is at school and she's acting really weird."

"I'm on my way." He hung up and I wandered down the hall to my next class hoping he would be able to find out what was up with her.

SOPHIA'S POV*

I'm sitting in my homeroom and honestly I'm not even paying attention to the teacher. All I can think about is Cole and how I want him to protect me. I can't tell him though or he will get hurt. I put my head down and closed my eyes to think and before I knew it someone was tapping on my shoulder telling me to get up.
