Chapter 1: Oh No

Hi! My name is Lucy- Ann Johnson, but you can just call me Lucy. This is my story, my story of how it went when I made my wish. My wish when I blew out my candle for my 17th birthday. Now we can't just start from there! We have to go back. My birthday party was on Saturday, June 20. Now, the week before my birthday was the worst week of my life! On Monday, my parents told me that they were getting a divorce. On Tuesday, my boyfriend Josh broke up with me. And to top it all off, on Thursday I found out that my best friend Monica actually cheated with Josh. So at that point, I didn't want a birthday, I wanted to sit in my room and cry.
" Lucy! Please sweetheart come downstairs! Your father and I want to talk to you!"
" I'm not in the mood mom!"
" Lucy please don't be like this! Just come down stairs"
" Fine!" I yelled rowling out of my bed and stomping down the stairs like and elephant. I come down to see my mom and dad on the couch. I sit down and ask," so what's going on?"
" Well, me and your father were wondering if you would like to invite some friends over and have a small little party? What do you think?"
" Sure, if it will make you stop bothering me about this!" I say running back up to my room before she could say anything else. I text my 5 closest friends and they all say they're coming. That night, I was all dressed up in my high wasted shorts, sleeveless shirt, cute jewelry, and my brown lace up heels. Everyone gets there and it's time to blow out my candles. I hadn't thought about my wish because I knew that they don't come true. We got to the table, sang happy birthday, and it was my turn. So I thought of the first thing that came to my head.
(In head):" I wish that my life would be perfect and that I could control it"
I blew out my candles any felt a cold breeze, and then, had the shock of my life.
