Chapter 2: Is Mei jealous?!

This chapter was made after publishing the first chapter but I couldn't publish this chapter.. (long long story). I'm sorry if I published so late since I don't have internet at home I'm really sorry! I rarely get internet access.. Myanhaeyo!

Yuzu's POV

I woke up still half-asleep, and heard a door closing. It was from the main door. I wiped my face with my hands and went to the kitchen. I drank a glass of water and asked mom.

"Mom, did Mei go to school already? I heard the main door closed."

"Yes, dear. I thought you usually go to school with Mei together?"

"Yeah, but it looks like she got up earlier than me," I said while wiping my eyes. "And she didn't wake me up." I added.

"Oh well, looks like you have to go to the bathroom. Time is running, Yuzu. You are going to be late."

"Oh," I looked at the wall clock and realized I didn't have enough time to prepare for school!

"Oh shoot! I only have a few minutes!" I ran to the bathroom and after a few minutes, ate breakfast and ran to school. I hope I didn't forget something...

At school...

"Yo, Yuzucchi! Why are you late than usual?" Harumin said with a peace sign.

"I woke up late because my little sister didn't wake me up." I sighed. Well, it's not like it is her duty to wake me up, but still...

"Oh, you mean the Prez? You look tired though.."

"Yeah... Hahaha" I laughed with no humor.

"Class is about to start, Yuzucchi. Face the board, not me! Hahahaha!"

"Ah yeah..." I took out my notebook and held my pen with my chin resting on my left palm.

School ended so fast. Harumin and I went to the new cafe near the bus station. Good thing I brought some money. We bought the sweetest coffee in the cafe and chatted.

"Hey, Yuzucchi... do you have a boyfriend?" She asked taking a sip of her coffee.

"Me? No. But I've had one long, long time ago but we broke up since he had a secret girlfriend.." I felt my ears burn and just remembering that made me so angry.

"Then, do you have a plan on having one, again?"

"No, they are just so annoying! They just cheat on me.. My goodness, those heartless people." I roared. Surrounding customers stared at me, but I didn't really care since I'm angry.

"Then, do you have a... girlfriend?" She said with a smirk.

I coughed and almost choked when I heard it.

"N-N-No! Hey there are people around here!" I stuttered while waving my hands in front of me and shaking my head in denial.

"Hahahaha! You didn't have to respond like that if you don't have one!" Harumin giggled.

I felt my face burn. Good thing we were sitting at the very back table of the cafe. I finished my coffee and stood up.

"Hey, Yuzucchi! Wait for me! I didn't finish mine yet!!" Harumin begged and ran towards me.

"Yuzucchi, are you going straight home?"

"Yeah, since I don't want mom and Mei to worry about me."

"Oh well, you can visit me anytime, okay? See ya at school, Yuzucchi!"

I went straight home just as I said goodbye. I opened the door and saw Mei standing there.

"Yuzu, I told you." She sighed and stared at me expressionlessly.

"Yeah, yeah, I know. I'm sorry, 'kay?" I said with a faint laugh.

"Yuzu, come eat with us, we were waiting for you." Mom said holding chopsticks.

"Ah yeah. I'll just put my bag in the room."

I went to the table and sat beside Mei. I ate a lot since the food was unbelievably delicious! I ate like a hungry lion and mom was surprised and laughed.

I went to the bathroom and just took a shower and went to bed. I wasn't sleepy. I just looked at Mei's back while she was doing her homework.

"..Yuzu." Her voice was like silk.

"Y-yes?!" My body responded automatically.

"..Please go straight home when class is dismissed. I told you it's a violation of the school rules. Do you want to get suspended from school?" She explained facing me.

"..Yeah. I'm sorry." I said scratching my head.

"...Tell me, where did you go?" She said getting near to my face.

"H-huh? A-ah, H-Harumin and I went to the n-new cafe near the s-station, y'know? Hehehe..." I stuttered with a nervous laugh. I just remembered what Harumin asked when we were at the cafe.

"Don't you know how much mom worries about you?" She said with her usual voice, shortening the distance between us.

"M-mom? I-I'm sorry... I-I couldn't really resist going out.." I couldn't look at her straight in the face since it was awkward.

"... I think you should say that to mom." She said with a small smile. I took a short glance.

"Y-yeah. I'll a-apolog-gize to mom t-tomorr-" What was that!? She kissed me all of a sudden! My eyes shifted to hers. Her eyes were still fixated on mine. Her eyes were full of lust. Is she... somehow... jealous? Harumin and I are just friends... Maybe, Mei took it the wrong way... I'm starting to tremble. My elbows can no longer hold my weight. Mei then put her hand on my chest and slowly pushed me down. My elbows gave in and I'm lying on the bed. I pushed Mei away.

"Haah.. haah.. I.. can't breathe.." I said, breathing heavily.

"Mei... I'm... sorry... okay?" Breaths were in between my words. She just stared blankly at me.
