Makoto's pov

One thing that I wasn't expecting of the host club when we had finally showed up, was that it was...tropical?

The whole room, was filled with artificial (I hope artificial) decor for a jungle. The boys were dressed in Bali outfits and everything. Not exactly what I was expecting...

Another thing that threw me off was the amount of girls in here! Each of the boys seemed to have their own audience. Speaking of 'boys', Haruhi was already at her little station. Musō wasn't far off, beginning her little debut in this club. By the looks of it, she was going to be well liked.

"Oh Makoto, there you are. What took you so long?" Satan himself questioned as I finally walked in the room.

"I took all my homework to my locker. Then I got lost." It wasn't entirely a lie. I did put my stuff in my locker. I just didn't get lost. I just took my sweet ass time to get here.

"Well, as long as you're here now I can have your table set up with a few test-guests. Your sister appears to be rather popular." Kyoya wrote in his little death- notebook.

"Yeah, whatever..." My shoulders slumped and I began to walk over to a table where three girls say. When I met their gaze they seemed to grow a bit nervous. I didn't think I had that effect on people...guess you learn something new everyday.

"Oh and Makoto."

I looked back. The raven pushed up his glasses and looked at me, smirking. Shit.

"The change of appearance is nice."

I felt my face grow hot as a narrowed my eyes into a glare. He meant my makeup, I'd grown up told to wear it. I was told it was mandatory, or at least for me it was, Musō didn't have to wear it unless she asked me to put it on her. I guess I just got used to it. To do this little host gig, I went without it. I wasn't fond of not having my mask on.

But I still didn't like his cheeky little comments though.

"Oh shut up you informal, four eyed prick." I grumbled, turning back and making my way over to the table.

Three girls sat there, looking up wide eyed. I plopped down on my chair and gave an awkward little wave at them. This seemed to work since I could see a light dusting of pink on their faces.

"Umm...hi Makoto, so you're new to the host club right?" A girl with long caramel colored hair asked. I just shrugged.

"Obviously, my brother Musō is over there, he joined with me." I pointed over where my 'brother' was situated, charming the guests with her dorky Musō charm.

"Oh you two are brothers?! I had no idea!" Another, with a black bob chimed.

"Yea, he looks more like Haruhi-kun!" The last one, another brunette with a ponytail, added.

"Haruhi is our cousin, Musō is my twin." I shrugged. This, for some reason, made them fangirl.

"Really?!" The bobbed one squealed.

"Yeah." I said, "The two of us are staying with him for the time being."

"Oh? How come?" Ponytail inquired. I internally face-palmed, I really don't like explaining this.

"Well, umm...can we not talk about that? Let's talk about something else..." I trailed off rubbing my neck, I could feel myself flushing slightly.

"Of course!" They squealed loud enough to break my eardrums, I had to resist the urge to cover them. I wonder how Musō was dealing with this.

"Oh Makoto!" Speak of the devil and she will appear...
