Jake----->

(Ash's pov)

I woke up and smiled. I snuggled into the blankets. Last night was amazing. I could still feel the heat of Paul's kiss. I could hear the guys downstairs and I sighed. If I didn't get up soon then Sam would more than likely come and wake me up. So with a sigh I got out of the warm bed and went to my closet. "Hey, hon." I turned and saw Emily standing there. "There's no patrol today, so we're all going to the beach. The guys want to cliff dive, so I thought I would tell you to wear something nice and cool." I smiled.

"Thanks, Em." Emily smiled and walked over to my closet.

"Want some help?" She asked and I smiled.

"Sure, you know Paul more. What would he like?" I asked.

"Well, Paul was a player before he became a wolf. Once he phased he called off all girls wanting to wait for his imprint. My point is that Paul like his girls sexy, but I also know wolves can be very protective of their imprints, so I know that Paul would love to see you in something sexy, but he wouldn't want any other guy looking at you."

"Okay... so what should I wear then?"

"Something cute, but not too showy." Emily smiled.

"Okay, so what should I wear, Emily?" Emily smiled and ruffled through my closet. She decided on a grey tank top and a pair of shorts. She grabbed a red ruffled bikini and laid it out on the bed.

"Here you go." I smiled.

"Thanks, Em." I said as I grabbed the clothes and headed into the bathroom. I quickly showered, blow dried my hair, and got dressed. I tied my hair up in a ponytail and headed downstairs with Emily.

"The guys already left, but Paul and Sam are waiting." Emily told me as we reached the bottom of the stairs and headed into the kitchen. Sure enough Paul and Sam were both waiting. "Sleeping beauty is finally up." Emily teased, causing me to roll my eyes. Sam laughed and shook his head.

"Thought you'd sleep all day." Sam told me as he handed me an apple. I rolled my eyes, but took it. "Come on, the guys are already at the beach." Emily and Sam headed out as I bit into the apple.

"You sleep okay?" Paul asked gently.

"Yeah." I smiled at him and walked outside. He took my hand in his and the two of us followed Sam and Emily in silence.

"Look, Ash." Paul said breaking up the silence that formed between us. "I know we're imprints and everything, so I shouldn't have to ask, but... Are we dating now or not because if not then my following question will be whether or not you want to be my girlfriend." I smiled up at Paul.

"You don't have to ask Paul. I'm your imprint, of course I'll be your girlfriend." Paul smiled and leaned down. He kissed me gently and smiled. I smiled back up at him and gave my own quick kiss. He pulled his hand free from mine and wrapped his arm around me. He pulled me close to his side and kiss my head.

"I'm really happy I imprinted on you." I smiled and looked up at him.

"Me too, Paul." He smiled and the two of us got onto the beach with Sam and Emily. The guys were already cliff diving and a blanket was spread out on the beach.

"You want to join me, Ash or go risk your life like those idiots?" Emily asked as Sam waited for my answer.

"Uh..." I watched as Jared jumped off the cliff. "For a person terrified of height... I think I'll sit this one out." Emily and Sam laugh as I pull away from Paul and went and sat beside Emily. Paul gave me a small smile before Sam and him started for the cliff.

"So..." Emily began as Paul and Sam were no longer in our sights. "Sam told me you and Paul were rather comfortable last night." A slight blush came to my cheeks as I looked over at her.

"Oh.... he mentioned that?" Emily smiled over at me.

"Mmmhmm. Paul was a bit red when he left the house too. So... what happened?" At first I thought Emily was like a mother, but now I'm getting the feeling that even though she's like a mother to the pack she can easily be one of those teen girls. The thought made me smile as I looked over at her.

"Oh, well let's just say that Sam walked in on Paul and I." Her eyes widen.

"You and Paul...."

"Nah, I'm just kidding." Emily gave a sigh of relief, slipping back into mother of the pack. "But we did kiss.... a lot." I smiled.

"Amazing kisser?"

"You have no idea." Emily smiled and the two of us sat in silence as we watched the crazy guys of ours jump off the cliff.

"You know, Paul is a great guy. He has his faults, but he's a good guy." Emily told me, causing me to smile.

"I know." I looked over at her and sighed. "Is Jake mad at me?" I asked.

"No. He just doesn't get along with Paul." I frowned and looked at her confused.

"Why?" I couldn't help but asked.

"There's a girl name Bella. She found out about Jake and the guys by going to his house. The guys had walked at that time and Bella started shit with the guys. She made the mistake of hitting Paul." My eyes widen I'm shock.

"Is she still alive?" I asked, but to my surprise, she made a face at the question.

"Oh yeah. She's still Alive, but pissed Paul off royally. He phased and could have killed her, but Jake got in the way. Jake hated him since, while Paul hates Bella now. See Jake loves Bella and would do anything to have her be his imprint, but she's with one of the cold ones. Jake just hasn't accepted it yet."

"Bella shouldn't have done what she did regardless. Plus Jake needs to realize that she isn't the one. Anyone would flip shit if they got slapped." I told her.

"I agree, so does the entire pack, but Jake refused to accept reason or forgive Paul for what Bella caused." I shook my head at Emily before looking back at the pack.

"I'm not going to let him ruin what I could have with Paul simply because he's jealous and won't see reason."

"Good, because I think Paul could use someone like you in his life. Maybe you'll be able to calm his temper." I frown as she said this as I looked at Paul. I can already tell that he's a great guy and Emily's right I may just be able to help him and if I can, I will. I smiled at the thought. I'll do anything to help Paul.
