Fully aware that I am out-of-proportionally blushing, I straighten up and dust off my skirts. I glance up at him, well not quite because I look undignified, and study him. He was striking, couldn't exactly be handsome, but the combination of brown eyes and brown hair, like all that Pelluvians are well known for, was far more prominent. His nose was a little crooked, eyelashes a little long, yet he had a flattened mouth. Possibly because he was frowning up at me.

I finally find my voice and croak, "can I help you? I have a lot of chores to do so, good sir, if you will excuse me, I must return -" For a moment, he looked amused, but then he shuffles backward.

He looks down and screeches, "what a mess! You can't do any job properly." He kicks the bucket of water with the mop, which splashes all the water onto the floor. Is he deranged? I just cleaned that up! All that painstakingly hard work.

"How in the world can you just do that? I spent tireless amount of hours - " He smothers a smirk, and I gasp, how mean and rude and shameless of him! Why is he acting like a juvenile?

Before I can comprehend what I was about to do , my short-temper overrides my rational thought process and with all my might - he seems awfully like a grown man with stocks of muscles - I push him, while he was mocking me. He looked startled like a bucket full of ice rained down his parade.

"Now I'd say we're even." I clamped my hands together. I get closer to his face for good measure, and daze out seeing his brown eyes brighten with a fierce anger. "Well, if you are offering to help you might as well stay, otherwise I suggest you to -"

"No thank you," he says as he stands up, brushing the arms of his coat, making me stumble back from his overwhelming stature.

Kassian

What an infuriating girl! At first, it was amusing to make fun of her because she seemed to get rattled easily, but he knew like the other palace maids that they would show some modesty and blush or apologize, but this girl was different. Her face was also very alive with a multitude of expressions, which was interesting to see what she would look like when he incited another one of them out of her. The most expressive were her blazing green eyes the way they sparked every time he had a comeback.

That hair, it was vividly red; he couldn't place it. It seemed familiar. Of course, there aren't many Pelluvians with red hair, so that stuck out the most, but they aren't nonexistent either. Maybe it was the tangle of webs of her hair that made an impression on him. It was perhaps that she woke up on the wrong side of the bed.

Wait, could it be that she didn't recognize who he was? Thinking back to the earlier moment, she wouldn't have lacked grace to offer him a bow. That bold personality and loud mouth. He put his fist in his mouth, stifling his wicked grin. It apparently seems that he wasn't mistaken. Things just got a little more interesting.
