I walk in thinking the I was pretty smart thinking that I could introduce both my mates to each other this would work maybe I could even have both of them. Well guess how wrong I was?

“Honey I’m home, have you put dinner on yet?” I yell to Austin as I walk through the back door.

Austin comes running to the back door. “Where have you been, I’ve been so worried are you ok, did anyone hurt you?” Austin asks while searching my body for any scratches, marks or bruises. Then he smells me, why is he smelling me.

“Why do you smell like another Alpha male?” Austin looks at me as if to say what where you doing out there and who with. However I really don’t want to answer because I have a feeling that he will rip Kyles head off.

“Amber, please answer me right now, I want to know where you have been right now, sweetie please.”

And guess who just decided to walk in the damn door.

“Kyle now is really not the best time to walk in the house maybe you should turn around and sprint?” I say hoping that I still have Austin’ attention on me.

“Amber who is this?” Austin says looking between Kyle and I. Oh no this could have gone better.

“Austin calm down please this is Kyle …… he um …. he is my other mate” That is going to start something that I’m not going to be able to stop.

Before I knew it Kyle and Austin where on the floor rolling, punching, pulling, scratching and god knows what else. “Guys, stop please I really don’t want you to fight over me, seriously guys stop.” I say trying to pull Austin off Kyle and Kyle off Austin it didn’t work at all, neither would change their position.

“AUSTIN, KYLE STOP NOW OR I TALK TO NEITHER OF YOU AGAIN!!!” I scream at the top of my lugs suddenly they stop. They look up from where they lay and the frown oh no what have I done.

“I’m sorry Amber I didn’t mean to annoy you, I’m sorry” Kyle says before Austin has the chance to apologise this starts another argument.

“I wanted to apologise first, why did you apologise first?” Austin said with anger rising in his voice.

“Well I did it first and trust me mate, it’s not the first thing I’m going to do before you do because once she realises who you really are there is no way she could want you.” Kyle said with such fierceness that it made me want him, so bad right now.

“Austin, Kyle please just stop you shouldn’t be fighting over me” I say and they both look up from the ground again and have such dumb founded looks on their face.

“Why wouldn’t we fight over you Amber, your beautiful, smart and my mate” they both say in complete sync.

“I love you” Austin says with a smirk on his face “I always have and I just couldn’t admit it to myself” Austin used these powerful words but did he really mean them, I wasn’t sure and I never did anything I wasn’t sure of.

“How can you say that when you haven’t even taken the time to get to know me, how could you use those words and mean them when you don’t even know the first thing about me” I say to Austin and then I see Kyles face he looks as if he has lost me. I lean down and slip myself into his arms, I don’t want to hurt him I can’t hurt him it would mean hurting myself as well.

“Kyle, babe don’t worry I know he doesn’t mean it, if he did he would prove it but he can’t so I know” I say trying to calm Kyle I can see sorrow in his eyes but also anger and then as I lean in to touch his chest and lay my head I see love, lust a mixture of emotions in his eyes. Now as I’m looking between the two boys I know that Kyle has those feelings for me but Austin still has to prove it and I think I’m ready to choose now. But should I give Austin the chance to prove his feelings or just leave with Kyle now and not look back on the town I want to leave so much with my mate, well that plan has changed slightly. Leave town with one of my mates.

“Kyle I can see it in your eyes you don’t need to say it for me to know” I lean in towards his ear and whisper “And I love you because of that” I say and now I know that even in my head I have already chosen so I guess it’s time to tell them because if I keep this bottled up it will just annoy me and annoy me until I burst and scream it to the world.

“Austin I need to tell you something.” I say pulling Austin outside so that he can calm down and get away from the possibility of hurting Kyle.

“Austin, this is going to be hard to hear but I choose Kyle you say all these things but all I can see in yours eyes is want and possessiveness and I don’t want that” I say touching Austin’s arm hoping to calm the anger that has just risen from probably hearing what I just said.

“I will prove my feelings Amber, I do love you and if you can’t see it in my eyes then I will scream it to the world if I have to but I will prove it” Austin says and storms off towards the forest. I walk back inside to tell Kyle the news well good news I guess. As I’m walking back inside I see Kyle talking to Chace, when did he get here. I stay just behind the wall for a little bit to hear what they are talking about.

“Man you are whipped, but I swear to god you hurt her and you won’t have a little friend to play with, if you know what I mean” Chace says laughing at his end comment.

“Don’t worry Chace I couldn’t hurt her, because hurting her would mean hurting myself and just ahhh hurting her would destroy me I couldn’t live with myself if I hurt Amber ………. I love her and that won’t ever change” Kyle says almost crying probably thinking about if he hurt me.

“Good man then we will get along like old times then” Chace says with a tone of smirk in his voice.

“So you love her aye?” Chace asks.

“Yeah man, yeah I do” Kyle says and then I hit my foot on the side of the wall I was behind.

“Ahhhh you son of a bitch, holy shit that F***ing hurt” I say as I come hoping around the corner.

“Even when she is eavesdropping on conversations she shouldn’t” Kyle says as he leans down to catch me before I fall to the floor. This boy might just be perfect.
