Days flew by in a blur and I couldn't really tell as id I'd been imagining it all. It felt as if I was in a surreal world where everything that occurred was just a figment of my imagination. It was one of those things where I wasn't sure if I was there or I had blocked the world around me.

As I sat at the table in the café a couple of blocks down my house, I wondered what I was actually doing there. I had a cup of coffee tightly gripped in my hand, my jacket pulled up over my mouth in a way which I hoped concealed aspects of my face. My eyes kept darting to the two figures sitting three tables away from me then down to the phone held in my other hand.

If it wasn't for the elderly couple that sat one table down from them and the girl that sat at the table besides me, engrossed in the book in her hand, that both of them would have definitely caught me by now. It wasn't even that I had planned to actually spy on them, I came in and they were here which eventually sparked my curiosity and suspicion.

I couldn't hear their conversation because of the distance, for once, and due to their hushed tones. However, judging from Lauren's irked expression, I knew it wasn't a cordial conversation. Not that I had expected it to be, especially with Lauren.

My eyes quickly diverted up when I saw movement out of the corner of my eye, slight panic flaring inside of me when the elderly couple stood up and slowly walked out. Lauren and Illiana were now clear in my view and I only hoped that the girl besides me did a decent job of covering me up. They weren't turned in my direction, having some sort of heated stare off.

"You can't do this, not now. You do, I will forget who you are and I will not hesitate to turn my back on you" my ears perked up when Lauren's harsh voice rang through my ears. I took a quick glance, surprised that the girl didn't even hear her especially since she was much closer.

"I don't like this, Lauren. It's not right" Illiana's softer voice flowed through the distance that seemed so much smaller and I couldn't help but have the urge to know what in the world they were talking about. I wanted to know every single little detail.

"It's not about what's right. It's about what we have to do" Lauren spat out, seemingly not giving a shit about anything. I wondered how exactly Niall fell for her. How did someone like her end up with someone like Niall?

That was the only small bit that I'd managed to hear, their voices dropping down to a lower octave where no matter how hard I strained my ears, I couldn't hear a single word any of them uttered.

Having decided it was enough, I abruptly stood up from my chair and briskly walked out of the café. My attention was so focused onto my phone that I hadn't noticed anything until I was colliding into a strong chest, sending my coffee spilling on my jacket, the sweater of the person who I collided into and all around the sidewalk, my cup rolling down onto the road as I stepped back from shock.

Letting out a string of curses, I despondently watched the coffee that now littered all around me, angry that I hadn't been paying attention. It was chilly, I was confused and I was tired. Looking up, I should have been surprised when I met Harry's wide green eyes but I truly wasn't. Somehow it was in my sick destiny to have this kind of run-in with Harry out of the hundreds of people.

"Shit- sorry, I didn't- I'll get you more-" I cut his rambling off with a small shake of my head, a small sigh escaping through my lips that were slightly numb due to the cold.

"It's fine, I was done with it anyways" I lied, lifting my shoulders into a shrug which was very unconvincing and it was apparent due to the scoff which escaped his lips.

"Clearly, that's the reason that cup is empty right?" His sarcastic tone rang through the small space between us, which I just noticed causing me to take a few steps back, "C'mon, I'll buy you-"

"Harry, seriously it's fine. I'm cold, and I just want to go home" I interfered once again, feeling slightly bad when his face dropped.

"Okay...at least let me make you tea" His eyes were wide with hope, and his lips were pink from the cold air around us, and I couldn't decline his offer even if I wanted to.

"Fine" I gave in with a small smile, just wanting to feel warm air envelop around me and take away the numbing from my face and hands. His lips stretched into a wide grin, his hand giving a small squeeze to mine and instantly heating the skin there, a small jolt of tingles shooting through me and arising goosebumps even underneath the layers on me.

A small gasp was sucked through my parted lips, Harry of course taking notice. His grin fainted to a small smirk before he let go of my hand quickly, the area becoming cold, missing the contact of his skin already. I blinked and suddenly cleared the thoughts from my head.

Our walk was in silence, no words being uttered between us because there wasn't a need for them. It wasn't until Harry made both of us a cup of tea and we were siting in his living room that he finally spoke up.

"Eileen and I were nothing and are nothing-" he precipitously started. My eyebrows pulled downwards into a frown and I was just about to stop him when he shook his head before continuing, "No, listen. I need to tell you everything. It's about time that everyone has been hiding it and I think you deserve to know the truth"

"Everyone?" I whispered, scared to know who everyone was.

My thoughts were confirmed with a small nod of his head. My heart dropping in my chest as I realised what this meant. I was finally going to know the truth- or whatever truth that Harry may know. I was going to finally going to know what all the lies and betrayal was for.

However, before any of that could have even happened, there was heavy pounding on the door of Harry's house. His expression mirrored mine- one of which was exasperation, and confusion.

He slowly put his cup down on the table in front of us and moved to open the door. I couldn't see anything but once he swung the door open, I couldn't hear anything over the angry shouts and screams. I didn't know what was happening, once again.

My vision slightly blurred due to the sudden pounding headache that I was slowly getting. I inhaled quickly when a figure moved through the doorway of the living room, my blurry vision not helping me to distinguish who it was. I knew it wasn't Harry for sure but I knew I recognised the figure.

I couldn't make out anything further before darkness enveloped me completely.

Most likely one more chapter and then an epilogue <3
