Act 1: Scene 1

Lacey- Mom, please just give me a chance.

Cassie- Lacey, I'm sorry, but your father and I said no.

Lacey- Wow my friends were right, they told me that you would say no.

Brandon- Lacey, that trick was used by your older sister Melanie. It didn't work for her, and it won't work for you either, so it's a NO!

Lacey-(crying) Okay, then leave me alone. I hate you both.

( Lacey runs to her room and slams the door.)

Cassie- I think we were a little too hard on her.

Brandon- She will learn to not argue with us.

Cassie- Tomorrow, I'm going to let her go to the mall with her friends. She knows she's still to young to go out partying on a school night.

Brandon-I agree with you, my Cara Mia.

Cassie- oolala, my husband, I love you.

Brandon- I love you too.

(upstairs in Lacey's room)

Lacey- (talking on the phone to Stacy) Stacy, I'm sorry but I can't go to the party tonight. (Stacy: Why not?) Because my parents hate me. (Stacy: Did you manipulate them?) Yes, but they still said no. (Stacy: Then sneak out.) What? NO, that is stupid. They'll know I was gone. (Stacy: Oh come on, it'll be fun) I said NO. Goodbye Stacy. (Stacy: Wha...)

(Lacey hung up the phone)

Lacey- Why do my friends always want me to get into trouble? Maybe they're really not my friends.

(The next day, Lacey comes downstairs to see her mother and father smiling)

Lacey- Why are you smiling?

Cassie- Lacey, we have something to tell you.

Brandon- Your mother and I are going to be...

Lacey- You're having a baby?

Cassie- Oh for heaven sakes NO, NO, no, no, no, we're going to be taking you to the mall, to go meet up with your friends, and go watch the newest vampire movie at the theater.

Lacey- Oh my gawd!! Thank you guys so much.

Cassie- You're welcome.

Brandon- Then we're leaving you guys, so we can get some of our things done.

Lacey- Okay, plus I thought you were pregnant again mom.

Cassie- No this factory is closed.

Brandon- Maybe, maybe not.

Cassie- I am pregnant, Brandon.

Brandon- You are?

Cassie- Yes.

Brandon- Oh my beautiful wife.

Lacey- Ewwww, quit it.

Brandon- Okay we will take you to go see your friends now.

Lacey-Thank gawd.

Cassie- Now out the door with you.

(The family leaves the house to go drop off Lacey to go see her friends since its Senior Ditch Day at school.)

Lacey- Okay mom, I'll be careful, and not talk to strangers, I know what I'm doing here.

Cassie- Okay sweetie, we love you very much. Goodbye Lacey.

Lacey- Bye mom.

(Lacey leaves the car, goes inside the mall and sees her friends ordering the tickets to get into the movie.)

Lacey- Hi guys.

Stacy- Oh my gawd, Lacey your parents are the best. To bad you missed the party, but we get to see the new vampire movie that came out.

Lacey- I know.

Carly- Yeah you missed out on meeting Daniel last night, he asked where you were. We told him that you were studying. He told us to tell you that he likes you.

Lacey- Really Daniel likes me?

Stacy- Would we ever lie to you? Plus we invited him to watch the movie with you. Here, he comes.

(Lacey turns around and sees Daniel)

Daniel- Hi Lacey.

Lacey- H..H..Hi Dan.. Daniel!

Stacy- Lacey your stuttering again.

Lacey- Oh Oh yeah, sorry about that.

Daniel- Ye... yeah, I only sta... start stutt... stuttering arou... around pre... pretty gi.. girls.

Lacey- Awww, so you think I'm pretty.

Daniel- Well duh, you're the prettiest girl in school. Plus your popular too.

Lacey- Uhh no I'm not, your thinking of my sister Melanie.

Daniel- What I'm trying to say is, Lacey will you be my girlfriend?

Lacey- After what you said about me, I'm saying n... Yes!

Daniel- Yes, now I have the prettiest girl in the whole school going out with me.

( Lacey turns around and Daniel picks up Lacey by the waist and hugs her.)

Lacey- Awww, I love you Daniel.

Daniel- I love you too.

Lacey- Okay so lets go see this new vampire movie.

Daniel- Yeah.

( Now lets go to see Lacey's mother and father.)

Cassie- Can you believe I'm pregnant with our third baby, Brandon?

Brandon- I thought you said you were done with having kids from now on after Lacey?

Cassie- Well God has given us another baby. Plus we will love it the same way we loved Lacey and Melanie.

Brandon- We will always love them all no matter what. Do we need to tell Melanie about the baby or should we tell her when she gets back from Las Vegas?

Cassie- We will wait until she gets back from Las Vegas.

Brandon- Okay, my Cara Mia.

(We end the scene with Cassie rubbing her belly and Brandon kissing her belly.)
