I groan as I roll over onto my other side but hiss and sit up as pain bolts through my ankle.

"Merlin, that hurts." mumble to myself as I reach for my ankle. As soon as I thouch it, I quickly pull my hand back. That was a dumb idea. Just then do I notice that I'm not in my room.

I tense up but relax a bit as I figure that I'm in the Hospital Wing. Looking around, I see that all the other beds are empty and sigh. How did I end up here anyways?

"Oh, you're awake." I turn towards the voice to see madam Pomfrey. She was standing by the doorframe to her office with a gentle smile on her face. I give her a small smile in return and a nod. She starts to walk over, and only then do I notice that she has a potion in her hands. She puts it down on the bedside table next to my bed before turning back to me with a smile.

"Looks like you broke your ankle last night." my eyes widen a bit as I remember the night before. That's right we were in the forest when he attacked us. I fell down, but I thought that I just sprained my ankle, not broke it. Once we were inside the school, Hagrid told the others to go to their dorms and he took me here.

"As soon as Hagrid put you down on the bed, you fell asleep." she said chuckling a bit and shaking her head. She made her way around the bed, to my broken right ankle.

"You looked so exhausted that I decided to let you sleep." she started prodding around my foot and above my ankle. My guess to see how big, or how long, if you will, is the fracture. She applied a bit of pressure on a certain spot above my ankle and I winced in pain. She quickly stopped and looked up at me with her eyebrows knitted together. She nodded, as if confirming something to herself then walk back to the badside table.

"This potion will heal your bones right away." she says picking up the potion and giving it to me with a gentle smile back on her face.

"Thank you." I give her the best smile I could give as I take the potion. I drink it all up in one big gulp before giving it back to her. She turns around and walks back into her office.

And like that I'm left alone with my thoughts and the first one has to be Draco. He just left us there and ran away. He didn't even glance back as I called him. He's a real coward. I was scared too, and so was Harry but Harry tried to actually protect me. Malfoy just ran off with his tail between his legs.

What about that saying that house members are loyal to each other? A Gryffindor tried to protect a Slytherin, with the oh-so famous rivalry between the houses, while the other Slytherin ran away.

It's not that I don't understand that he was probably scared out of his mind, but then why do I feel so betrayed? Now that I think about it, maybe I should have listened to dad.

I was sitting in my dad's lap as he was reading a story to me. We were in the living room and were waiting for mom to come back so she could tuck me into bed. My five-year-old eyes were wide as I stared at the somewhat moving picture of an old lady giving an apple to a princess.

"Snow White took the poisened apple from the Evil Queen, disguised as an old lady. She trusted her when she said that it tasted sweet and took a bite out of it." I gasp as my dad chuckles and turns to the other page.

Then he stops and I look up at him when he doesn't continue to read. He has a frown on his face and it looks like he's deep in thought.

"Dad," he snaps back into reality and shakes his head a bit.

"Y/N can you promise me something?" he says looking down at me. I nod with a big smile. He chuckles, patting my head before he turns serious again. "Promise me that you won't give your trust to people too easely."
