It was a rainy night in the (town/city) of (name of home), and everyone was sleeping peacefully. All except one. Well, maybe more than one, but this story is about a certain someone. Anyhow.(Y/n) (L/n) was their name. Mostly known as the friendliest, and happiest (gender) on the block. Born an only child, (Y/n) is always up to help their family whenever it's needed.
But they weren't always the happiest.
Like now, they lie in bed, headphones on, and listening to their music, which was mostly full of depressing music. Trying to think about the reasons of why they're sad brought tears in their eyes. They try to keep silent so that they're parents wouldn't hear.
They didn't know why they were so depressed. They had a perfect life. You see, their family was slightly more wealthy than the average family, with their father being a famous surgeon. They always got what they wanted, even when they didn't ask. But even then, they still didn't feel happy with them selves. Not that they weren't thankful.
They just... Didn't feel anything. They did act very well. Faking all those smiles, laughs. It hurt them every minute, hiding their emotions all day, every day.
As the last song on their playlist came to an end, they decided it was time to get some rest and prepare for the next day. As they put their headphones away and dried their tears, they heard something. They looked around their bedroom, finding nothing. They shrugged it off and slipped into bed, rubbing their sleepy eyes. They grabbed their mini pillow and snuggled into it, silently whimpering.
Then they heard the sound again. They looked up slightly, to tired to even sit up. Again, nothing. They closed their eyes again. A creak on the floor startled them, making them actually sit up this time.
There stood a man, maybe the same age as them. The man had shoulder long raven black hair, a white jacket, and black slacks. They couldn't really see the man in the dark, but could see a long wicked smile, that kind of reminded them of the Joker. His one eye that wasn't covered by his bangs was wide, as if he had never blinked.
Here you would think it would be the same old story were (Y/n) would scream and blah blah blah, but no. Sure, they were taken back buy the mans appearance, but they didn't scream. They just sat, and stared into the mans eyes.
Then suddenly out of no were, the man jumped on (Y/n) and pinned down both of their hands with one. He laughed, his voice raspy and low. With his extra hand, he slowly pulled out a large, razor sharp knife. Tears started to prick the corners of (Y/n) wide eyes. The man put the knife on their chest, spinning it around. (Y/n) bit their lip as they stared at the spinning weapon.
"You sure would look a lot better if you had a large, bloody smile on your face," he took the knife and glided the side of (Y/n) mouth. "Don't you think?" He laughed again. "You could be beautiful! Just like me!" He grinned, showing off his large smile. He then started to spin the knife around on their chest again. "Any last request?" He asked. (Y/n) was sure that the killer didn't really care if they had a request, but they asked anyway.
(Y/n) didn't know what came over them, they just, said it, like it was a normal thing to ask in every day life.
"Can... Can I... Can I do it?" They said, slowly grabbing the handle of the knife.
The man was taken back by the request (Y/n) had made. Never, in there life had they heard one of their victims say that they wanted to die. (Y/n) sat up, and the man got off of her. The man saw that their victim had a knife, and wasn't sure if they were tricking them or not.
(Y/n) put the knife to her heart.
This is it. They thought. The end of my suffering.
They smiled sadly. "Thank you." They whispered.
Then they pushed the knife straight threw. It stung badly. (Y/n) started coughing blood as their arms fell to their sides. The killer just stared in shock, surprised that they would actually do it.
(Y/n) smiled and closed their eyes, ready to go were ever the universe would take them.

Anyway, I'll let you know, updates will be slow since I'm starting school in a couple days.
If there is any advice you'd like to give me, go ahead. Grammar corrections are ok too, I really don't mind them.
