Chapter 9:

              Everything went silent...

(Y/N) POV

   I froze. I dropped my pizza from my hand, staring wide eyed at my plate, with pain and regret. I felt my sins crawling up my back as the tears threatened to fall.

But that wasn't the worst part.

  I was becoming emotionally unstable. The demon from before would come back, and ruin everything.

   They would believe that this would be an all-time thing. They would kick me out, leave on the streets. They would try to kill me, but I wouldn't die. I would only get stronger from the pain.

  "Did I say something?" Hoodie asked.
Jeff looked like a statue. He wouldn't move, he just stared down at his lap. Until, he grabbed Hoodie by the collar, and dragged him out of the room.

   "Well this is awk- ow!" Ben was hit against the head by Jane. "Shh!"

"(Y/n)? A-are you ok?" Toby asked, concerned. He reached to me and rubbed my back.

    It made me calm down a bit. I relaxed my shoulders and sighed. I looked up and did the best fake smile I could do.

  "Why wouldn't I be?" Everyone looked at me with sadness.

  "You know you don't have to lie here, right?" Nurse Ann said.

  "We're your family now. This is your new home." Sally added.

  "You can cry without being judged..."

With that, I bursted into tears. I grabbed my plate and slid it across the table onto the floor. I laid my head down and sobbed into my arms.

Puppeteer rubbed my back softly. He twirled small circles as well, giving me a chill vibe.

"It's ok (Y/n)..." meowed the cat, rubbing his side along my leg. I reached down, and ran my fingers through his fur. He jumped onto my lap and purred.

"Thanks..." I said, wiping my tears.
Everyone smiled at me. I blushed slightly and smiled too.
  I love it here...
