The Note

You usually go out hunting with Ayato. But lately.. you haven't. He actually started getting worried about you.. He'd come by to see you, and every time he looked even more upset..

You started to wonder why.

He wanted to know why you weren't out hunting with him.

You actually had a crush on him.

And he had a crush on you. That's why you two went out hunting alot.

But neither of you knew about the crush..

Today he was coming to visit. You wanted to tell him how he felt, but you were also scared to. His sister had warned you.. alot. And she can get a bit scary from time to time. But you know she means well.

He knocked on your door. You took a deep breath, and opened the door. He looked worse..

He clothes were all ripped, his hair was a mess, and he had bags under his eyes. Yet he still smiled at you.

You pulled him inside and sat him on the couch while kicking the door shut.

"Whats wrong with you?" You asked, sitting behind him on the back of the couch. You started brushing his hair, which you loved.

He just shrugged. You poked his back and continued brushing his hair. "Tell me.." you said. You were fighting tears, and were successful so far.

"I just.. haven't been feeling well lately.." He muttered.

"Why?" You asked, pulling him back to you. He looked up at you, while you looked down at him.

"Well... I've sorta.." He shook his head and looked away. "Nevermind..." He said. You looked away, biting your lip. 

"Why won't you tell me...?" You asked, closing your eyes. Your voice cracked. He looked up at you.

"Because... I don't want you to think of me differently." He said standing. "I think I should go..." He started walking away.

You couldn't do anything. You were frozen.

He looked down and walked out of your apartment. You noticed he dropped a piece of paper. After staring at it for ten minutes, you finally got up to look at it. You picked it up, opening it slowly. It was all crumbled, but you could see what it said.

"I love you, Y/N.
