Why are all of us here? Why isn't Seungcheol, Minghao and Seungkwan here? What happened to them? Are they in danger?

I have so many questions to ask, but nobody can answer them.

I look up and see something strange about Bomi. Joshua and Jun went to look around and haven't come back yet.

"Hey..." I point at her. Why are her eyes like this...I don't remember seeing her with contacts before...

"Are you wearing contacts?" I ask hoping for a yes.

"No? Why would I?" She tilts her head. What?

"What do you mean?" She tries to smile. She seems a bit freaked out.

Bomi POV

"Your eyes..." She widens her eyes and points at them.

What's wrong with my eyes?

I rub them. "Did something get in them?"

"N-no..." She looks scared. What do you mean no?

"Your eyes...they are purple..." She stutters.

"Purple?" My hands reach just below them. I look down at the small puddle of water in front of me. I didn't even realize it was here earlier.

"What is this?" I stare into my reflexion.

"Everything happens for a reason...I think this is connected with the black fumes." Jia states.

"I hope so..." I sign. After seeing the black fumes, I don't even find this half as strange.

I look around. Why aren't the others back yet?

End of Bomi POV

I barely see the shadow of a weird 'thing' almost reach Bomi, but a purple light flashes before it could hit her.

In that 1 second, I couldn't even move to save her. I didn't have time...

I rush to her. "Are you okay?" I examine her from close.

"What just happened?" She looks at me confused.

"A purple 'thing' protected you from a yellow 'thing'." I try to explain.

"Clear as crystal." She says sarcasticaly.

"Where did this come from though?" I pick up the piece of rock that was still shinning a bright yellow color.

"This is the 'thing' that hit me?" She asks. "Probably..." I answer.

I look over to the direction of the bushes randomly and see a pair of eyes hidden in the green herbs.

"There!" I yell pointing the bushes as the pair of eyes immediately disapear.

"It's that guy! Follow him!" I continue pointing towards his direction.

"Yah it might be dangerous." Bomi yells trying to tug onto my shirt.

I continuously run towards the guy, so Bomi follows me.

"Yah! Stop!" I almost run out of
breath.

I'm pretty near him now and I can hear his panting.

He has brown hair and cute cheeks. I can't see his face very clearly since he's facing the opposite direction.

"Yah. You!" I manage to shout out panting, my hands on my knees.

"Why are you following me!" He turns around with a frown.

"Why were YOU throwing your magic rocks at me?" I ask.

"Pff they aren't magic." He says making some kind of weird expression.

Bomi glares at him.

"Where are we?" Bomi crosses her arms.

"What do you mean by where are we?" He frowns.

"Don't tell me...Are you perhaps...?" His eyes widen.

"D-don't approach me!" He takes a step back waving his hands in front of his face.

"What are your kind doing here again?" He says before covering his mouth with his hands gasping.

What does he mean by 'our kind'?

"Didn't you hear of the Legend?" He frowns again.

"Of course. Every newborn first learn about the legend. Why?" I ask surprised.

"Because-wait...why am I even bothering talking to you?" He turns around.

"Bye!" He waves.

"Come back!" I follow him again until I bump into something hard. Another guy?

"Who are you?" The guy brushes off the dust on his clothes before looking at me.

"Y-you..." His eyes widen.

"These purple eyes...they look so familiar right?" The boy from earlier says.

"You dumb potatoe!" The other one scolds him.

What is going on?

He grabs the 'potatoe' by the ear and takes him a bit further away from us. I hear that the 'potatoe's' name is like Hosh or something.

"I'm sorry." Hosh bows.

"Is your name Hosh?" I ask.

"It's Hoshi." He avoids eye contact.

"We have to go now..." The other boy tugs at him.

"Wait! Tell me your name first." Bomi demands.

"It-it's Jeonghan." He bows before fleeing with Hoshi.

"Why do they seem scared?" I mumble to myself.

Jeonghan POV

I stare at them slowly walking away.

I found her. The Master of the Gate.
