***Flashback***

There he stood. His clothes were dipping wet and his hair was sticking on his forehead.

Tears were forming in his eyes, but you couldn't really tell if he was already crying or if it was just the rain which made it look like teardrops.

A cold breeze blew through the leaves and she started freezing. She was only wearing a cropped top which showed off her stomach.

He undressed his jacket and held it out for her to take it, but she looked away and ignored his gesture.

She was taking all her power to be strong and not take his jacket, even tho she felt like she'd soon become a snowman and her clothes were already wet like his.

"Perrie, please...", he started. His voice sounded desperate. He took a step forward and reached out for her hand, but she jerked away.

On the first look, she looked emotionless, but if you looked twice, you could see how broken she really was.

Now he couldn't hold his tears back anymore.

"I didn't want this to happen", he said. Her head turned and her blue eyes stared into his brown ones.

"But it did, Zayn", a huge tear rolled down her cheek, but she wiped it away. They both stayed silent for a while. She looked at the ground and then at her wet sneakers. They were supposed to be white, but now they seemed to be light brown from all the mud and dirt. She felt like someone had punched her into the stomach and that she was going to puke. Her heart got a huge scar and it was caused by Zayn.

"Perrie?", his voice sounded even more hurt than before. She slowly came closer and when her lips touched his, for a second it seemed like she could just forget the pain and sadness, but when she drew back, she knew that she couldn't forget.

Zayn looked suprised. He hadn't expected such a gesture from Perrie. Not now.

"I just want you to know, that I love you", she was still standing close to him. All she wanted was to make him stay.

"I love you too, Perrie, you know that", he said. He took her hand and entwined his fingers with hers. This time she didn't jerk away. His soft touch felt like a burning fire on her skin and suddenly she didn't care how cold it was anymore.

"I'm going to send you a letter everyday", he told her and leaned forward to kiss her forehead. She weakly smiled and nodded in response. She believed every word he said. Nothing could make her less sad than she was. The boy that she loved more than anything else, would leave her and it wasn't sure if he'd ever come back. Zayn would be gone.

She hugged him the last time, then she walked up the stairs in front of the porch and waved at him.

"I hope we'll see us again", he said. She forced a smile.

"Don't ever forget how much I love you", those were the last words he said before he got into his car and drived away.

She watched him driving away until she couldn't see his car anymore. Then she fell onto her knees. Her legs couldn't carry her much longer.

She covered her face into her hands and cryed like she never did before.

She leaned back against the door of the house and she felt pain, but there was still another feeling. Fear.

She was afraid that she'd wait for him when he was gone or that he'd forget her. But the worst was:

She was afraid that he would never come back.

Suddenly the door opened and someone came out and sat down next to Perrie.

Perrie looked up to see who it was. She recognised Jade.

"Did he leave?", Jade asked carefully.

"He did", Perrie sobbed.

Jade hugged her tight and pulled her up to take her into the house.

Jesy and Leigh-Anne were already sitting on the sofa in the living room and they were watching TV.

When Jesy saw Perrie, she switched the TV off.

"Maybe you should go to bed and tomorrow is a new day", Leigh-Anne advised her.

Perrie didn't say a word. She went straight into her room and didn't come out for the rest of the afternoon.

She tryed to sleep, but everytime she closed her eyes, Zayn's face came up to her mind.

The next morning, Perrie woke up at 1pm. Jade, Jesy and Leigh-Anne were already awake. Jesy had made breakfast which could've been described as 'lunch' as well.

The girls were all sitting on the kitchen table.

Perrie's eyes were red and swollen from crying and she looked terrible.

"You'll find somebody else", Leigh-Anne said.

Perrie looked up from her full plate. She hadn't eaten a single piece.

"But that's the problem", she confessed, "I don't want anyone else"

Jade gave Leigh-Anne a look which showed her that she should better stop talking.

After the breakfast, Perrie stood up and went into her room again. She was still wearing her pajamas.

"She can't be like that forever", Leigh-Anne said, "She can't just hide in her room and cry all day"

"We have to help her", Jesy nodded then she turned to Jade, "We could go shopping with her!"

"And what if she won't come with us?", Jade asked.

"Well, she doesn't really have a choice", Jesy shrugged.

"Ok, I think it's a good idea", Jade confirmed.

But could shopping really help someone, whose heart is broken?
