Once appearing at the second floor they tried the first door, and it was unlocked.
“This feels like a game show…don’t you think?” Luciano asked, extremely confused by how keys kept appearing and giving a new room to explore, as if they’re in a maze and the show host gave hints to help them escape. As they got into the room they saw drawers in which they immediately started searching through. As they looked and looked they were unsuccessful in finding anything, then Luciano piped up, picking up a box from the floor.
“I found a match box!” Luciano sounded a little too enthusiastic in finding it, but it was something.
“…woo?” Kyou smirked lightly. He was bored and was looking for a fight, and what’s better than a fight with Luciano, a born-to-fight bipolar Italian with the worst temper anybody can control?
“Pipe it.” Luciano snapped back, deciding it’s more fun to watch Kyou go without a fight than to actually fight him, the effort is just so funny!
“I-I found a first aid kit…” Gilen used whatever courage he had to shout, then shrinking as he saw glares on him.
“Finally! Something actually of use to us.” Kyou earned an icy glare from Luciano as he walked towards the first aid box, using it to patch up any injuries he had. The three other nations soon followed and copied Kyou before setting off to find other rooms they could go to, carrying both the first aid kit and the match box.
They continued their hunt for a safe room and soon came to a large room with a large table and a fireplace.
“Well I guess this’ll do.” Luciano strolled in the room, stretching and looking around.
“Hai…” Kyou agreed (for once) and hurried the two Germans in, closing the door behind him and locking it.
“Okay, so we aren’t fully safe in here, but this place will have to do- Gilen this is not a time to be sleeping!”
Gilen was too busy curled up on one of the beds in the corner to be listening, and Jasper walked over, shaking him hard.
“G-Gilen wake up!” he hissed
“b-but I’m tired…” Gilen whispered.
“Gilen…wakey wakey rise and shine!” Luciano hissed from the other side of the room, flipping a knife in his hand as if he was about to throw it, causing Gilen to shoot up, wide awake.
“O-Okay, don’t hurt me!” He shouted, shivering.
“Gladly. You aren’t worth my time.” Luciano responded, before shivering a little too, “It’s sort of cold…”
“Hai, I agree. Looks like your matches just came in handy, there’s a fireplace and it works!”
Luciano groaned and walked over to the fireplace, proceeding to heat the place up, whilst Jasper tried calming Gilen down a little.
“Right! Now, I want answers.” Kyou gestured for Luciano to sit on the bed, only earning a middle finger from the Italian, but he just sighed and kept talking anyway, “why’d you all run away and leave me?!”
“W-well we were waiting for you…and you took your time but the thing appeared and we didn’t want to die so we ran…and…hid.” Gilen slowed down, once he saw Kyou face palm at how typical this was. Then he turned to Luciano, who just raised a brow at the Jap.
“And why did you run, Itaria?” Kyou asked in sort of a happy, mocking sort of voice.
“I didn’t run! Have you seen the size of that thing? I could never take it down on my own. So I did what I thought was necessary at the time and ran.”
Kyou blinked in disbelief at Luciano but no matter how funny this was, it was true. It wasn’t easy for Kyou to take down either.
“Yet when I started to run, it started following me! I mean, I know I have fans but mamma mia…” Luciano continued, but you could see he was trembling slightly.
Kyou just rolled his eyes, he could not believe how big headed he sounded. Well, he could, but he didn’t want to. Then Kyou noticed his symptoms of fear, and his eyes widened. Jasper and Gilen noticed too, and the three nations just stared at Luciano.
“What?!” He snapped at them all, “it’s not like you did anything after we ran!”
“Oh but we did…” Kyou smirked a little, still confused at how Luciano, of all people, not afraid of a fight, could be afraid now, but Luciano just ignored him.
“Anyway, time to move on and find a way out.” Kyou raised his voice above them so he could be heard.
“Um…okay.” Gilen nodded, “So…has anybody found an exit?”
“Unfortunately nein…” Jasper sighed, looking at Luciano who was looking at the window.
“Hey! Why don’t we just break-” Luciano wondered, pointing at the window before he was cut off by Kyou.
“Not now Luciano I’m thinking. Idea, we’ll get some sleep, and think some more in the morning ‘kay?”
They all nodded before Gilen spoke up, “say…who keeps watch?”
They all looked around before looking at the asker of the question, in which Gilen just squeaked, “M-Me?!”
“Si~ good luck!” Luciano giggled, jumping into bed and falling asleep.
“Night Gilen…” Jasper and Kyou said in unison, climbing into their beds, and leaving Gilen alone and shivering.
As he was watching guard and watching his brother sleep, he heard banging on the other side of the door.
“Wh-What…? Was…was that…that thing?”
It banged again.
“M-Maybe I should wake up the others…no. I can fight it!”
Gilen then walked over to the door, terrified of what was on the other side.
You cannot easily set foot into that "mysterious mansion" in your town.
Because if you anger its former occupant, you will not get away lightly…
Especially when there are no people there…
