Chapter 9 The Plan, Anger and Forgiveness

Cadance and Flurry were heading towards the throne room to speak to Celestia about a plan they could discuss to save Twilight. They both walked side by side and smiled like nothing was wrong, because when you're royalty you need to set a good example to other ponies.

As they walked down the hall passing a couple of guards along the way they kept walking down the long hallways of Canterlot castle. The hallways Were white with columns hounding up the ceiling, and there were some mini tables with flowers on top of them, the windows showed beautiful views of the Canterlot.

As Cadance and Flurry Heart got closer to the throne room they stopped for a minute and stood in the middle of the hallway. Cadance looked at her daughter with a sad expression on her face and then she spoke up to her daughter. "Flurry I want you to go back to my room and stay there till I get back, this is a situation for us adults to handle and I need you to be as far away from me his as possible I don't want to see you getting hurt ok" her sad expression turned to a small smile.

Flurry was not leaving her mothers side , she wanted to help and she wasn't going to just sit by while everypony was going to save her aunt. "No mom, I won't I want to save my aunt Twilight, please mom" flurry said pleadingly to her mother with her sad eyes.

Cadance looked at her daughter and saw that she wanted to help , but she still wasn't going to let Flurry get hurt. "I'm sorry Flurry but no means no, so go to my room and stay there till I come and find you ok" after she spoke Flurry started to speak again , protesting against her mothers demands.

"Mom please I want to he..." She was cut off by her mother.

"Flurry no that's enough" she said raising her voice abit in annoyance to her daughter talking back to her again.

Flurry spoke again and said. "But mom I..." She got cut off again as her mother started to yell.

"No Flurry Heart to the room NOW!!!" She yelled at Flurry angrily. Flurry Heart started to tear up and she ran away crying ,all the way back to the room.

When Cadance saw her daughter run away with tears in her eyes she felt horrible but her daughter wasn't listening so the only way to make her listen was to raise her voice. Cadance just stood there and a tear had formed under her eye lids. She had a upset look on her face.

Suddenly a a light flashed before her eyes slightly making her blink a few times so her eyes could adjust to the sudden flash. Once her eyes adjusted she looked to find the source of that flash , and it was no other than Discord.

Cadance looked at him surprisingly and said. "Discord"

He looked at her and said. "In the flesh so to speak. I heard some chaos was going on between a mother and a daughter and that lead me to you so what's going on?" He asked her curiously.

Cadance just looked at him and he could tell she was upset. He POPPED on over to her and gently wrapped his paw and claw around her and whispered. "It's alright everypony makes mistakes Cadance I should know I've made millions of them. She will come around in the meantime I think you have a certain purple pony princess to save, see you later" he then flashed out and Cadance just stood there and thought.

"He's right I have a job to do and I'll make it up to Flurry later but right now I have important matters to attend to" she then continued walking towards the throne room.

Once she made it to the door she pushed the door opened and slowly walked in towards Celestia with a determined look on her face. Celestia heard the sound of CLIP CLOPPING hooves on the carpeted floor. "Cadance what do you need, did Flurry find you ok?" Cadance didn't answer back she just looked up at her aunt and stood there for a few seconds thinking about what to say. She couldn't say she snapped at her own daughter.
