{ Ignore my comments. I'm just a lonely Whale }
"Shane I swear if you are doodling on my plan-papers AGAIN I WILL COME IN THERE AND SLIT YOUR THROAT!" Shane started to frantically erase his silly doodles he had created on Blister's 'Water board' design sheet and called nervously,"I-I'm not! It's perfectly good still!"
Blister glared at him from outside through the window and he straightened up but she used her little glasses to see right through him.
"When I get in there and I see ' Shane is awesome ' again on my papers I will make sure it is the last time I see it. Or you."
Shane laughed a bit."Noted." He waited for her to sulk back to molding up her board and sighed in relief and looked down the papers splashed out underneath him.
There were over a million different designs Blister wanted to do: Flowers, Fish, Cats ( His personal favorite. However Max did not agree )
Shane neatly organized the papers quickly as Blister shuffled her way into the shack and glared at him and he just smiled at her."See? I organized it all! You can read it all over and I PROMISE there is no ' Shane is awesome ' anywhere!"
Blister sighed and folded her glasses in and placed them on the dresser."Your an idiot. I know you did it. And now you don't get your pencil." She snatched the pencil from him before he could react and his first instinct was the jump onto her and snap her neck but that was easy to ignore and he just slumped."I liked my pencil..."
Blister fiddled with it for a moment then mumbled,"Shane...You need to find something productive for YOU...Your way too...Shane...For this."
Shane frowned at her."Too Shane? No! I can be serious! I promise! I'll do better." He grabbed the papers and set them on the dresser.
"Shane I know you really want to be serious but I know you. And I love how you want to help and all. But seriously. You need something for you to do."
Shane whined,"There is NOTHING FOR ME TO DO! I can't hunt, I can't pull weeds...And this keeps me productive!"
Blister frowned at him and then looked off to the side."Will you take this all seriously? Because I need these boards done soon and I can't do that if you keep distracting me. The group is counting on me." ( it's counting on you. WHAT ABOUT ME? )
Shane mocked her voice in his head, but didn't dare mock her out loud with the thin ice he was already walking on."I understand COMPLETELY...I won't get in your way."
Blister took a moment before nodding her brown and blue haired head."Good than. You can come gather the molding material with me...I've already messed up the first model. The end was like an oval..." She sounded disappointed in herself.
Shane laughed."Well, you can't expect it all to come out perfect." He got up and stretched, realizing his foot was asleep with a slight groan ( tell me you know that feeling. Sucks right? ) and he placed it slowly on the wooden floor. He automatically felt the little tickling feelings in his foot and Blister noticed his distress."Yeah thanks...How long have you been stiff like that?"
Shane shrugged."As long as you needed me to be there." He ran outside, feeling his foot almost buzz with the tickling feeling and he stopped and held up his foot, wanting to chew it off, but that thought vanished as soon as it came. His thoughts were getting as dangerous as he had feared they had. He wondered if he would forget to ignore those thoughts one day and hurt someone. He wouldn't doubt it. His hands were almost as numb as his foot now Blister caught up with him on her small legs ( how did she even make it this far like this? )
"Oi, the mold is on the beach, not this way." She complained.
Shane frowned and looked up, and realized he had headed in the opposite direction; Towards the thin cluster of trees where they had arrived from as a group ( that's not a tear in my eye! No it's not! NOPE )
"O-Oh. Yeah. I know! I knew that." He stammered and turned away from the trees to see Blister giving him a questioning investigation.
"Hmm. Well, get down there." She commanded and Shane just chuckled."Yes ma'am." He walked down to the beach and his eyes scanned the waters. He saw Eela bringing in a net full of fish, their scales glimmering in the sun like the water, but the sight actually made him shudder, thinking of the time he had watched that black triangle rise above the surface and take down a helpless animal like it was nothing. That's how it was going now. Eela was killing those fish like it was nothing. But he knew it wasn't like that. Eela was killing them to keep them fed. But isn't that what Cova was doing?
Shane shook his head and regained his train of thought. He looked over at Blister who was already digging into the rough sand below for her special metals.
He slowly sat down and started to dig with her, his hands scraping against the rough sand below as he looked for the substance.
