Yes! It's saturday! Have been waiting all week for this day!
"Jessica! Come down, Honey! Breakfeast is ready!"
Oh God. Not mom's cooking again.
"Um... Yeah, mom! I'll be down right now." I reluctantly answered.
I jumped a few times in my rooms before my skinny jeans could finally reach my ass.
"These look good. Maybe I'll have some luck finding a boyfriend as well." I winked at the sexy reflextion standing in the mirror.
For a second there, Megan Trainor's, "Me Too" song came to mind.
I think these tight high waisted khakis are so going well with my Abercrombie & Fitch sweater.
I looked so good. Forget good. I looked burning hot today!
I ran down the stairs proud of my taste in clothes. Then, as I skipped down happily to the concrete, I remembered the bus and my face drops.
See? This is precisely why I'm going out today. Because I need a damn job! I have got to get one. I need to save and I need a car!
"Screw the bus! I'm walking instead!"
There's no freaking way, I'm using a sweaty, Smelly bus right after I showered myself with perfume.
No way, José.
I took a few steps and wobbled from lack of practice in these new heals.
Can someone remind me why I even wore heels today?
"Wait! It's a weekend. Maybe one of my friends could-"
"Hey, sexy mama!" A voice interrupted.
My head shot up and saw Dustin and Veronica. My best friends in the universe. Their also dating.
"Hi, guys! I was just about to call you two, Idiots." I smiled.
I jumped inside their new Honda Civic. Such beauty!
I'm so working for one of these!
"So... What's cooking, good looking?" asked Dustin.
"Ugh. Here, trying to find a job." I sighed and layed my head on the windowpane of the car as he drove off.
Veronica looked back and asked "Why are u wearing heels?! And why?"
I gave her an amused expression due to the fact that I had asked myself the same question just a minute ago. "Don't ask, but I need a car."
"A car?" Dustin seemed intrigued by this answer. "Your mom and dad are like your own personal Uber drivers. Why do u need a car?"
"Yeah... on the weekends. I don't want to take the bus to school- or anywhere else for that matter on week days." I ranted away.
They shared a quick glance and Veronica spoke.
"Lets go out for a while. You can rest that worry for now." She smiled warmly my way, rubbing my shoulder in comfort.
"Thanks, you guys. I love you."
They chuckled and we arrived just as I finished my sentence, realizing where he had been driving towards.
"We're here." Dustin announced.
I looked at the front window and saw McDonald's.
"You guys know me so well." I grinned.
