Song Of The Chapter: Owl City & Carly Rae Jepsen - Good Time

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I wasn't really shocked by Mason having my number, I mean he IS the most popular guy in our school. I looked at the text, extremely confused and shocked.
Did he really just say that? But why?
I decided on not texting him back, partially because I'm not interested, and mostly to push him away before he even comes close. Anyone who tries to get close to me is a threat, I know that I shouldn't and won't trust anyone, my past taught me that.
I decided to sleep, even though it was still 9pm and a Friday night. Yeah, I'm, just that cool (note the sarcasm). I got dressed into my pyjamas and threw myself onto my bed. I was enveloped with the warmness of my comforter. I let out a yawn as I feel myself giving into the tiredness that's taking over my body, and I started to drift into deep sleep.
I woke up to the sound of my phone ringing.
"Hello?" I spoke irritably.
"Kelly!" announced a deep voice from the other line.
"Who is it?" I asked, already pissed that someone disturbed my sleep. You see, I'm not exactly a morning person.
"Mason, remember me? I gave you a ride yesterday." He replied.
"What do you want, Mason?" I asked, sounding annoyed.
"To hang out"
"Why?"
"Like I said, you're mysterious and I'm curious."
"Um, I don't know you,"
"Well you could get to know me, that's how friendship works" He insisted.
"I don't want to be your fr-" he cut me off.
"I'll be at your house in ten." He said before hanging up.
Wait, how did he know where I lived? Besides, he lives about 25 minutes away, how will he be here in 10 minutes? What is he, a Fast and Furious driver?
I tried to convice myself that he was joking, but 10 minutes later, he was at my door step, ringing the bell. I was watching through my window, and my Grandma opened the door. He started telling he something and the next thing I hear was Grandma calling my name.
"Kelly! You have a guest!" She called, sounding surprised and happy at the same time. I wouldn't blame her, for the past 1 year and a half, no one has ever come to this house to "hang out" or have a "sleepover" or whatever, and this was new to both of us.
I was wearing sweatpants and an oversized hoodie but I couldn't care less, I'd look ugly in any way, so there was no point in changing into something pretty. I left my room and headed downstairs to where Mason and Grandma were.
"Hi." He greeted, and I replied with a nod.
Grandma decided to leave me alone with Mason in an awkward silence.
"So..?" He asked, making it even more awkward.
"Why are you here?" I asked, frustrated with the situation.
"I told you, I want to get to know you." He replied with a stupid smirk on his face.
"And what if I don't want to?" I asked.
"Then I guess I will do it the hard way." He answered, with that smirk still visible on his face.
Suddenly, I was being carried bridal-style.
