(Two years earlier)

"Is everything alright with Tracy?" Victoria questioned as the sound of Tracy's screeching tires echoed through the quiet neighborhood.

"You know what, I did overhear her on the phone during the drive here. Sounded like she was going through something with her boyfriend. I am sure she'll call when she gets home so that y'all can have your 'girl talk'" DeMarcus teased.

Leaning over her shoulder, he gave her a wet and sloppy kiss before announcing that he was going to retire for the night.

"Ugh, That was a wet one babe!" Victoria shrieked as she wiped her lips.

"But you loved every second of it." DeMarcus teased as he walked upstairs.

Chuckling to herself, Victoria rose from her writing recliner and walked into her den. She dimmed the lights and took a seat at her desk. She'd been working in her notepad all day and finally decided to take a fifteen-minute break from her newest writing project before she started transferring her written story into her computer.

Turning on her laptop, she logged into her regular Facebook account and began to scroll through her newsfeed. There wasn't much of anything going on, which was always a good thing in Victoria's eyes. Scrolling back to the top, she clicked on the search box and began her daily investigation. Ever since the day her husband, DeMarcus left his account open and she read several suspicious conversations between him and three other women; Victoria was sure to add all three of them to her page and scope them out. She never found anything but that didn't stop her from looking, better safe than sorry was her motto.

When she opened the page of a woman named Shauntay, tears instantly formed and began to fall. When she added Shauntay's page, she noticed that there were no pictures and that she had no friends other than DeMarcus on her page. That was an automatic red flag, and it just let Victoria know that it was a cover-up page. A cover-up for what is what Victoria wanted to know. Tonight would prove to be a night that would make or break her.

Not only were her husband's latest indiscretions plastered all over the page, from tagged statuses to pictures and videos. But, the mystery woman behind the page, was no other than her best friend; Tracy. It was one thing to be suspecting of his cheating ways, but it was a real heartbreaker to see actual proof. One album of photos that caught her eye and brought on the waterworks was of them together at a resort in Jamaica; some of the pictures had time stamped dates on them from just a week prior. Not only had it been her birthday, but also their wedding anniversary.

She had gone through so much trouble to make suite reservations at the Cove Haven Resort. Only, to have him claim last minute that he'd been mandated on a trip out of town. Treacherous thoughts began to flood her mind. So, to keep herself from becoming a "Breaking News" story on the ten o'clock news; she went over to her mini bar and fixed herself a double shot of Hennessy on the rocks. Taking the shot to the head, she poured another and drained that one of its contents as well. Feeling a slight buzz creeping on, she walked back over to her desk with a third drink in hand.

Sitting back down, she stared at the sleeping monitor for a few minutes before swiping the mouse pad. Now, that she had undisputable proof of his cheating ways; a divorce attorney would be hearing from her. Taking a deep breath, she saved the pictures and videos to the computer's hard drive and her portable flash drive. Getting all that she needed, she signed out and logged onto her author account. There were quite a few notifications, but the one indicating a new friend request was the first that she addressed.
