Coincidences; Dan Howell X Reader

Aye so if you remember from the last chapter, I asked you guys if you shipped Phelby. Most responses were basically "I ship it" or something like that. But for those who didn't, I hope this helps. (*Cough* This is a Phelby chapter. It's not essential to read but it would be nice if you would. *Cough*)

Also minor Stranger Things spoilers? Just mentioning some obvious plot points. (I also highly recommend the show 10/10. You don't need to know about the show to understand the chapter but it helps.)

Shelby's POV

I excitedly started up "Stranger Things" on Netflix. Phil and I had both been wanting to watch the show since it came out, but had agreed to watch it together once he came here. We both talked about the 80's aesthetic and how it would hopefully be at least a bit nostalgic, despite us being 90's kids.

I plopped on the couch next to Phil, resting my head on his shoulder. I was tired, even though we just hung out at the house the whole day.

We got to the part where Eleven remembered about when she was being tested on, and experimented. She wasn't treated like a human being, and I noticed how that part really got to Phil. I moved closer to him with my head on his shoulder as he held my hand. We stayed stayed like that until we had finished that episode.

We agreed that we were both tired and decided to stop watching. But neither of us wanted to actually get up from the comfortable position we were in, so we just sat there in a comforting silence.

"I'm glad you're here." I said, looking up at Phil.

"Me too." He said quietly.

(Y/N)'s POV (First Person btw)

I took out the keys to unlock the house. Dan and I had just gone out to eat, and no, not like that. We had just bought a few books from (Fav/MangaSeries) at the comic book shop then decided to have dinner in town. We weren't planning on going today, but we found out that Ramona was out of town and we wanted to have a day out without her somehow finding us.

Dan and I were currently joking about business we had passed by on our way home. We never really saw what the place was for, but it had a big sign with the name of it being "Bonner Up." Yeah.

"Oh my god imagine if it was for some kind of really serious business place like an office." I said.

Dan laughed. "Imagine someone asking you where you worked and that was your answer."

"So what do you for a living?" I asked.

"Oh, I work at Bonner Up." We both said at the same time as we walked past the living room. We glanced over to the couch to see Shelby and Phil snogging. Dan and I started to make fake vomiting sounds. Shelby threw a pillow at us and we went downstairs. But before reaching the bottom, Dan and I both silently agreed to something.

"BONNER UP!" We both yelled, then laughing while running downstairs.

Phil's POV

Ok that was the Phelby chapter! I originally wasn't gonna have you and Dan in it, but I thought of the joke and wanted to put it in.

So what did you think of the first person reader? Should I use it or stick with the 2nd person POV I've already used for the book?
