Hey guys! I'm back for a new chapter! Yay!

*Crickets* ... Okay, maybe not. Anyways, I hope you enjoy this new chapter. This photo above is a picture drawn by me, using a certain application called Autodesk SketchBook. It is a free application, however, if you want more tools or an easier way of drawing, (including no ads!) you can pay some money. It's not that much. I used the money and I think it's amazing! I use the app everyday, for sketches, anime, and book covers like this!    Also, if you slide your finger to the left, a video will show up. It's on my own YouTube Channel, so feel free to subscribe! That woukd really make me smile! #RoadTo50. I thought I would do a little something, like having a theme for every chapter, and I thought this song sounded good. It's by Michelle Treacy. Feel free to subscribe to her too! She has two channels. Michelle Treacy, and MichelleTreacyVEVO. She doesn't have many subscribers, so, I bet it would make her day if you subscribed! Hope you enjoy the new chapter! =)

I collapsed on the ground and panted. It felt like we've been running forever. The sun was desending, and we were in the middle of nowhere. We lost all of our classmates, and now we just have each other. I looked at Yushi, panting. She huffed and smiled at me.
"I know we lost everyone," she said. "But hey, at least we weren't killed."
I smiled at her. I loved that she always looked at the bright side. I always knew that was a skill not everyone can conquer. The grass I was sitting on, was very cold, and gently whistling as the breeze brushed against it. The leaves on the trees around us were rusting, and swerving, as the wind grew stronger, then died down again. I sighed.
"I know," I started. "But, what are we gonna do? We know nothing about surviving . . We have to go back and find som--"
Yushi stopped me by placing a hand on my shoulder smiling. "Don't worry. It'll be okay." She grabbed my hand and helped me up.
I looked at Yushi quickly with widened eyes, "Yush, do you think, we can sleep?"
Yushi smiled. "Sure thing, although, I can't promise our surroundings are safe . ."
Ihesitated before collapsing on the ground to sleep. Before I could respond, I was asleep.

I felt chills run through my shoulders as someone's shivering hands touched my bare siin, shaking me awake. I popped both my eyes open and sat up, and then Yushi and I headbutted. Yushi pressed her hand against her forehead and looked down groaning.
"Sorry . . ." I apologized. I didn't even know she was that close to me. She looked at me with a slightly awkward smile.
"That's fine," she said, and then her expression changed to complete horror. "We have to go . . .!" she nearly yelled at me. Before I could respond she was already tugging on my hand, trying to get me up. I stood up and she started to crouch down and whisper an explaination.
"Look, there's people coming. I can hear them, sense them, smell them. Loud voices, and a sound of terror runs through their voice. We need to go. They could do something to us that . . ." she stammered. "That . . . we won't like. Okay?"
She started to tug me really hard, trying to run, but I refused. "How do you know they're bad? They could be looking for us. They might know us."
"I doubt it. Besides, better safe than sorry. I don't feel like taking the risk right now at complete dark." We both knew she was right, and we started to run in another direction we were originally going, trying to avoid the people. I stumbled and got up again with the help of Yushi tugging at my wrists. We were both covered in mud.
"Who's there?" said a voice. Yushi and I froze. We both slowly turned our heads, and from a little distance, there was a torch. Most likely the person talking to us. "Come out whoever you are!"
Yushi and I exchanged looks and then slowly walked forward. "We're just kids," Yushi started. "Kids from an orphanage. We were attacked and we fled. Now, we're lost. Please don't hurt us."
Suddenly, the man with the torch multiplied into dozens and dozens of this "one guy". They stared at us with a devilish smirk. I started to back up in fear, then Yushi stood in front of me, and covered me. "Leave us alone!"
The man in the middle - the real one - pointed at Yushi and said "Get her!" I panicked and tried to stop them, but they were so big, that they're hands were bigger then my whole upper chest and face. One decided it was time to get rid of me. He picked me up and choked me. I started to squirm and my vision got blurry. At least I can't die. I have an Expiration Date.
On the bottom of my left arm, there was a date, in bold black. It said "[04/04/40]". That was the day I was destined to die. Only 8 other people in the whole world had one. Nine people a year die from this. Each year has a different date. The reason? Each year, a breaker opens in another dimension called Argreluite, and a dangerous monster conjures up and enters. If it isn't destroyed, it can corrupt the Overworld, then it will spread to the Nether, and then to every other dimension known to mankind. Nine people each yeat, die, and travel to the dimension, and kill it. I don't know if I can do it, because I'm just a wolf. I can't do anything. However, everyone knows that the Mark knows best. Maybe one day I won't just be a wolf.
I watched them pull Yushi away and into a truck. I struggled to get out of the man's arms, and then he threw me. I bashed into a tree and groaned. Before I could even stand, the men rushed into the truck and drove away with Yushi. I stared at the lights of the random truck that appeared from nowhere and blinked. She's gone. I slowly slumped into the grass and cried softly.

The bark scuffed against my palms as I rubbed the two sticks together as fast as I could. We learned Camp X basics in orphanage school, and we also went for a field trip to the one and the only Camp X, and survived on our own for one day. I didn't do well. They said I got a C+ . . .
There was a sudden spark and I jumped back, tossing the sticks into the wood pile, and the whole pile burst into flames. I smiled and started to pull nearby logs closer to the fire. The sun was setting, so I decided to stack some larger branches, attempting to make a tent. When I finished, it didn't look that great. I shrugged. It'll work. I sat on a log that I pulled up to the fire, and sat on it. I watched it spark, the flames bursting and fluttering up through the air.     I watched it for so long, that it made my eyes tear up. I wasn't sure what I was gonna do. I needed to find a way to save Yushi. I teared up, and barried my head into my palms, crying harder and harder the more I thought about her.   I had to forget it. I needed to stop wasting my time, crying that she was gone. I needed to use my time, and get her back. I sat up, walked into my very-poorly-made tent, and curled up into a ball.
     I fell asleep in seconds.

"Hello? Miss? Are you awake? Are you alright? Wake up . . ." I fluttered my eyes open and I was startled, as I saw a woman, shaking me awake, with total worry in her eyes. I sat up and blinked at her. She smiled. "Oh, thank the heavens you're all right!"
I kept blinking at her with a blank expression. "Who are you?" I stuttered out of my mouth.
Her smile faded. "Oh, I see. I'm sorry I haven't introduced myself. I must've scared you, and then, oh no, I must be such a horrible person . . ." She stood up, stumbling. "I'm so, so, sorry. I really didn't mean to. I'm Kancy."
"Oh, oh, no, no. It's alright! Don't worry about it. I'm Aceite."
She formed a smile at me and held out her hand. "What are you doing out here alone?" she asked as I grabbed her hand and shook it. I looked down.
     "I'm surviving. I'm lost."
She gasped and clutched onto my shoulder. "Where are your parents? Did you get lost with anyone?"
"My parents . . . are dead, and I lost a friend out here today."
     She blinked at me. A look of guilt flushed across her face. "I . . . I . . . I'm . . . s-so . . ." she stumbled.
"It's alright," I said, forcing a smile. "It wasn't your fault."
Her face went into an expression of shock, and she glanced at me with a smile, spreading from ear to ear. "Maybe I can take you to my house? I have a couple daughters that might love to meet you."
I smiled and grabbed her hand. She pulled me up with a smile so big, her teeth showed. She pulled me through the grass. About an hour later, we reached a rusty old truck. She gestured for me to hop in, so I sat in one of the car seats that were her childrens', and snapped my seatbelt together. She looked in the mirror, and smiled at me, and then turned her head to focus on the path, and pressed her foot gingerly onto the gas.
