"What I perceive as I'm growing, summer comes at a time when rain is still falling, there are brighter days when you can hear her calling. Her sweet voice like hot chocolate on a chilly morning. She carried me for nine months, her heart beat lullabies sounding like a base drum. Before knowing who and what I was, she knew who and what I would become. She teaches me the ways of life, Like how to give without asking for anything in return.

She taught me the ways of the lord, And before punishing me she often quoted "spare the rod... ...spoil the child" And after she would serenade me with kisses then leave me alone for a while. Yeah she's funny that way. She also taught me how to pray. She would tell me words of encouragement everday, By quoting form the bible she would say... "Let not your heart be troubled..." And she would remind me that there's no need to worry and struggle. She tells me how beautiful I am everyday without delay. She knows what I'm feeling because she feels it too.

And she knows exactly what to say when I'm feeling blue. Yeah, sometimes we don't agree, But she'll still work hard in order for me to get my university degree. She believes in all my hopes and dreams, And shows me how life isnt always as it seems, My mama is a queen sitting on her throne, Her smile gives me hope and reminds me that I'm never alone.

Her character so strong and bold but soft enough to laugh with and to hold. I see the love in her eye's, and that cannot be bought at any price. She's there when no one seems to care. What can I say... I love you mama bear."

A sonnet symbolizing the love a child has for their mother, a love that's stronger than any other. It's different from what you feel for your sister, father or brother.

An indistinguishable force that motives a child to conquer what they might think is impossible, making them more than capable. it's not materialistic or disposable but unpredictable but in all sense noble.

A connection so deep, that is so powerful and electric every night she sings you to sleep, it's a love formed by the almighty and most holy, to cherish and to hold dearly
