20-19 to Kenma's team. I pick up my mechanical pencil and start taking notes again. The coaches occasionally peer curiously at my notebook.
Oh, another Kenma-and-Kuroo quick ... Ah, #7 got them with a strong block ...

My notebook is a mess of silvery-grey.

21-19.
22-19.
22-20.

I need to get a new notebook ... And a pen ...

Kuroo's PoV
22-21.

Dammit. They're steadily catching up with us. I actually vowed to get that sorbet today too!
I glance over towards Chihiro. Now she's scribbling away in her notebook.

"Hey, Kuro. Stop staring at Chihiro and concentrate. I'm pretty sure that she's going to accept."

I turn round to face him.

"What makes you think that?"

"Well, she seems to be having fun."

Although she was deeply focused on her notes, a ghost of a smile is gracing her lips.

"She looks happier when she's with her friends."
She smiles much more openly around them.

"Look closer."

Her mouth is curved into the smallest of smiles, but perhaps her eyes were sparkling just a little more than usual. I smirk at Kenma.

"Are you sure that you're just cousins? I mean, I think that it's perfectly fine to classify that as intense stalking ..?"

To my surprise, a light pink was dusted on his cheeks.
"You're so stupid. We're cousins, idiot. It's called observing. It's what I do, for Christ's sake."

"Ha ha. Fine." I give him a final smirk before raising my voice a little so that everyone can hear. "Let's finish this match!"

"Osu!"

Chihiro's PoV
In the end, Kuroo finally won a game. 25-22.

"Look at that, Chihiro!" He didn't waste a moment to trample upon my loss. "Told you that ice cream is mine!"

I roll my eyes at him. "You're waay too pleased with yourself. How many matches have you won this week?" My lips curl into a smirk as I tilt my head slightly. "One?"

Even Kenma decides to utilise the opportunity. "Your standards for yourself have dropped significantly, haven't they? I thought you were the captain?"

Kuroo sighs. "I understand that you are a sore loser, but please just accept that you lost to me and hand me the dessert already."
