"They seemed... nice." Mina muttered, still looking towards where they left.
"They are." I sighed.
"He lied."
I looked at her confused. "What?"
"Jungkook? He totally lied. There's no way in hell he was busy."
A few seconds after she said that, Mina's eyes slightly widened and she looked at me. "Shit, sorry. I didn't mean for that to sound harsh." She immediately started to apologize.
I smiled a bit at her and told her that it was okay.
"Um," I cleared my throat. "Why was I pushed off my seat when Jimin sat down? I thought I was a ghost."
"You are. I don't really know how that happened." Mina shrugged.
I nodded and looked around the park when my eyes landed on someone who was sitting two tables away from us. He had his hood pulled over his head, but I could still tell he was looking at us, with a small smirk on his face. I looked back towards Mina, who was looking at her phone.
"Hey, Mina? Do you know who that is?" I slightly tilted my head towards the stranger.
Mina lifted her head up a bit. "No. And I'm not gonna bother to find out who it is either. It's probably no one."
I looked back towards the stranger, and in the back of my mind I felt as if I should go see who he is.
He was still hiding himself in his hoodie. It seemed like he was laughing at something.
"Hey, listen. I have to go."
My thoughts were interrupted from Mina's voice.
"What do you mean?" I furrowed my eyebrows.
Mina sighed. "I have to go home."
There was a slight change in her voice, almost as if she was a bit angry.
"Oh, okay. I'll just go with you." I suggested.
"N-no, it's fine. You don't need to go with me. I'll just meet with you tomorrow at the hospital." Mina said hastily. "Try not to cause any trouble."
I tilted my head to the side. "What do you mean?"
"You know... ghosts can be troublesome." Mina deadpanned.
I slowly nodded before she left. I stood there for a few minutes, not knowing what to do until I went to focus my attention to the stranger. But to my surprise, he was gone.
Who was he?
******
Now I know why Mina said that ghosts can be troublesome.
After Mina left and I saw that the stranger was no longer there either, I decided to leave the park and walk around, to clear my mind up a bit. I didn't go right back to the hospital, because I knew that if I did, I would probably lose my mind on how I'm not able to go back to my body yet.
I walked a few blocks from the park, where it was busier. Being around so many people made me forget for a bit that I was a ghost. I smiled to myself when I saw some people spend time with their friends or families. I walked into a store that wasn't as full and looked at the small trinkets here and there. I saw someone walk to where I was and out of instinct, I stepped to the side.
What I didn't notice was that there was a rack of hats close to me.
I ended up running into it, knocking a few hats off the rack. This caught the attention of the few people that were close to where I was. They were looking around and back towards the hats in confusion.
This one woman took a look at the fallen hats and then walked off to the other side of the store where there was more people.
After that, a smile grew on my face when I got an idea.
For the next half hour, I spent the entire time messing with the people in the store. I moved clothes around, dropped a few clothes that were hanged in front of people, I slightly moved a mannequin a bit. Some of this did freak a few people out. I left the store when I thought that I scared enough people.
I walked past this group of people when I accidentally brushed past someone.
"And then I said- hey are you okay?"
I turned around, thinking that they were talking to me. My eyes landed on the guy who was talking, but he was looking at his friend. My gaze shifted to him as well. He looked a bit pale and wide-eyed, as if he was almost scared by something.
"D-did you guys not feel that?"
The others in the group looked at each other confused. "Feel what?"
"I-I don't know. For a moment I felt a bit suffocated and somewhat cold. It was weird. I swear I felt that for a moment."
A girl came up to him and placed her hand on his forehead. "Are you sure you're not getting sick?"
"I don't know, probably." I heard him say as they walked away.
I frowned at what he said. Did I do that?
"It's what you're feeling right now." I heard a male voice.
I quickly turned around and saw that no one was paying any attention to me. People passing by were just minding their own business, they couldn't even see me.
So, who was that?
