"I can't believe I'm doing this... alright, I'll help you."
"Seriously?"
We both reached outside of the hospital. Mina sighed and sat down on a bench that was under a tree.
"You're gonna keep bothering me if I say no," She pointed out. "Well you succeeded on getting me to help you. Now what?"
I frowned and sat down on the bench. "I haven't thought about it yet. I didn't think you would agree to this so soon."
Mina grabbed her phone and pressed it against her ear when someone was walking by us. "I didn't really need a ghost bothering me about this everyday. So we're going in blind on this?"
"For now, yeah."
She nodded. "Right, well let's go talk about this somewhere else. I don't feel like it's a good idea to stay at the hospital all day. It doesn't seem like you're bound to the hospital either, so let's go."
Mina stood up and started to walk away. I looked back at the hospital, before I sighed and followed Mina.
"What did you mean that I'm not bound to the hospital?"
Ever since we left the hospital, Mina held her phone against her ear the entire way. We were walking through the bust streets of Seoul and I didn't really need to worry about getting recognized by anyone.
"I meant that since you're not dead, you're not restricted from leaving the hospital. That, from what I know so far, the people who had died and haven't moved on, are sometimes stuck at the place where their death occurred. Meaning they can't exactly leave that place."
"Is that why you wanted to leave the hospital?"
"Yeah, I didn't want to risk on running into another ghost, despite me being there almost everyday. And because I had a strange feeling that someone was watching us." She slightly grimaced.
I nodded and looked at Mina with my head tilted. "Why do you still have your phone against your ear?"
She glanced at me, while trying not to run into other people. "You ask a lot of questions."
We both crossed the street and Mina put her phone away. She looked at me with her arms crossed.
"I had my phone like that, because I don't want people to think that I'm crazy, talking to myself."
I nodded understandingly. "So where are we going now?"
"To the park."
Mina turned around and started walking towards an almost empty park. There was no one else here, besides an elderly couple walking and a family at the playground. We both sat down at an empty picnic table.
"So," Mina started off. "Exactly explain to me why a famous idol like you is in a coma." She looked at me with an eyebrow raised.
My eyes widened slightly. So she knows who I am.
"So you know I'm an idol?"
She shrugged. "Well it's kind of hard to miss on how big your group is honestly. Both here and in the states. Quite a few girls talked about you at my old school in the U.S. And quite frankly, I don't care if you're famous or not. That's part of the reason why I didn't want to help you. I didn't want to get involved in a famous person's life."
"Then why did you?"
"I felt bad. I saw the look of sorrow on your face when you saw your friends. But trust me, I'm not going to fangirl or anything like that." She cracked a small smile.
