Hands on her pocket, back leaning against the wall, Vien looked down at them from the door as they thread towards the stairs of one named Evan Hudson.
"Got tired of waiting for you, boys." Sam looked at her angrily.
"I'm sorry we made you wait, we were trying to convince George."
Vien just shrugged in reply and then knocked on the door.
"Yes?" A man near his fifties opened the door with concerned eyes. He had his hair comb backwards and long sleeves, rolled up. It was a little bit lame for a little man. Vien thought to herself.
"Evan Hudson?" Sam asked.
"Yes?"
"You've been to a bar called Llyod's? Would have been about ten years ago." Vien quickly stared at Dean with apparent irritation. Really? You gotta start with that? She thought that Dean is many things as John told him but bright isn't one of them.
Evan quickly slammed the door on their face. He felt his knees getting weak. He ran as fast as he can towards his study room. He thanked the gods that at least his wife is safe if he did... he can't even put the words on his head. Is this the price he had to pay for her? His eyes widened with realization. Yes he'll gladly pay it for her.
At least he'll try to live a little longer for her.
"Good lord. Don't think too much kid. You'll hurt yourself." She said to Dean. He wanted to grab her neck and slammed it to open the door but instead he kicked the door open.
"Well, that's also a way in." Sam sighed. While they walked inside the house, Sam can't help but to stare at Vien. If it wasn't for the dried scar on her lips and some bruises on her cheeks, he might have said she's really pretty. Her hair might not be neat but it's curly and long that all she had to do is tuck it behind her ear to keep it from distracting her, but seeing her abandoning an old man who needs help expels any ideas of her being beautiful but instead replaces it with cunning, aggressive, cold woman she is.
Evan heard their heavy footsteps and readied himself to attack them. He hid in the back of he's shelf, but when he saw them walked inside, attack morphed to beg.
"PLEASE!" he shouted at them.
They all looked at him with mixed emotions, the taller man approached him slowly.
"We're not gonna hurt you." He said while his hands held up high. "We're here to help you."
Dean didn't waste any second to sugarcoat any of his words. "We know all about the deal you made."
"What?" Ewan asked sounding confused. "HOW?!" he said with an alarmed tone.
"Didn't matter. All that matter is that we're trying to stop it." Sam said gently to appease him a little bit.
"How do I know you're not lying?" Vien chuckled. How many times have she heard that? She's getting a tad bit tired of answering so, she waited for either of them to explain it to him. Too bad for Evan Dean was also tired of answering his question.
"We're not, but you don't have much options left buddy boy." He said sarcastically.
Evan's muscles relaxed. Sadly yes he did not have an option but to trust him, demon or no demon he has no say on what is going to happen to him now.
"Can you stop it?" he asked while he tried to compose himself.
"Don't know." Sam answered honestly. "But we'll try."
