I texted Lexi goodbye and decided to take a shower and go to bed. Once, I got out I went to the living room. Chris was on the couch editing. "Goodnight babe." I said kissing his cheek. "Night, I'll be in bed in a few minutes." He said. "Okay." I said. "Do, you have your suitcase packed?" I asked. "Yep." He said. "Okay, goodnight." I said going to my bedroom. I snuggled into the duvet. I closed my eyes. I couldn't stop thinking about him leaving. I was sad, and worried. I decided that everything would turn out okay, and stop thinking about it. I fell asleep.
*the next morning*
I was still asleep. I felt Chris kiss my head and say "Goobye Lauren, I love you bunches." I heard him close the door. A few hours later I woke up. My phone vibrated.
Lexi: Hey! I was wondering if you would like to go to the pool or something? And I'm bringing a friend along! Her name is Amelia!
Lauren: Sure! Sounds great! What time?
Lexi: 12?
Lauren: Okay sounds good! I'm gonna go get ready! See ya then!
Lexi: Alright! I'll pick u up if u want.
Lauren: Sounds good.
Lexi: k bye!
Lauren: bye
I turned off my phone. The time was 10am. I only had 2 hours to get ready! I quickly rushed to my dresser. I grabbed a bathing suit. I was going to wear shorts over my bottoms. I grabbed a pair of shorts. I quickly ran to the bathroom. I took all my clothe off. I put the bathing suit on and pulled the shorts over my bottoms.

I put flips flops on. I didn't put any make up on. I tied my hair in a messy bun. I grabbed my pool bag. I packed a t-shirt, bra, shorts, and underwear. I put some tanning oil, sun block, and a towel in the bag. I grabbed my sunglasses, and phone. I called Lexi and told her I was ready if she was. A few minutes later I heard a car horn.I went outside. She waved. I saw a girl with black hair. She had a big smile on her face. Since she was sitting up front I opened the back car door. (I'll put a pic of her at the end of the chapter). "Hey Lauren!" Lexi said starting the car."Hello!" I said. "Hi I'm Amelia! It's very nice to meet you Lauren!" She said facing me flashing a smile. "You too!" I said smiling back.
Soon we got to the pool. We got out of the car. We found seats. I took my shorts off. I saw a couple of guys stare at us. I just gave them a disgusted look and they looked away. "So I was thinking we go to the slides first." Amelia said. "Sounds good to me!" I said. Lexi nodded in agreement. We walked to the slides. We went to one with inner tubes. The life guard kept staring at Ameila and flirting with her. "Have fun!" He said flashing a smile. "Thanks!" Amelia said as he pushed us down the slide. "AHHH OMG!!!" Lexi screamed. I laughed. "Woooooh!!" I said. Amelia was laughing and screaming as well. Soon we were at the end of the ride. We got out. "That...was...amazing!" Lexi said out of breath. We went to the pool and swam for a bit.
