WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY DO I LOVE THIS MOVIE AND BOOK SO DAMN MUCH.

BEAUTIFUL AND TERRIFYING PEOPLE, YOU'VE ALL HEARD ABOUT CORALINE, RIGHT?!

Well, let me tell y'all that I've been getting goosebumps every 1.3 seconds because of this theory I came across with. And I wish I hadn't seen it. AT ALL.

I will be rewriting this because Coraline is like my most favorite movie ever, I memorized the lines (EVERY SINGLE LINE) from the movie by heart. So I won't be lazy here.

Without further ado, I bring you: A f*cking theory, what else?

***THE THEORY***

According to the theory, Coraline never really returned home after "defeating" the Beldam. This was shown in the ending scene. The theory states that Coraline, instead of returning to the original world, is brought to an exact copy of the original world that the Beldam, again, created. (*CRINGE*)

Notice that for some reason, at the beginning, Coraline was always ignored and neglected by her parents but then all of a sudden her life is all better again after she escapes? Again, this shows the Beldam's fake love.

Also, see that the world's residents don't have buttons for eyes? Well, this is because the cat ripped out the Beldam's button eyes when Coraline threw him at her, leading to this outcome.

The pole that the cat disappears to at the end is a second portal to the real/original world. Which means Coraline never really returned home.

Ratings: 2 for the goosebumps, 3 for the possibility, and minus 4 'cuz I don't wanna believe it and I literally just ruined my own childhood. So, 1/5.

A/N:

*BREAKS CHAIR AND SCREAMS INTO THE HOLY LIGHT* IN THE NAME OF LOVVEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!! *shoots self because of this theory* Also, I will be adding an additional theory regarding Coraline in my next update. Bye, bye!
